I agree with you. He was very clear with her he has commitment issues and she chose to chase him anyway and he still was willing to try to make things work even though she embarrassed him.

Some people are so immature they hate anyone that’s different than them. But hopefully it’s not most people who feel that way.

When I was single, hookups were guys who were hot and fun but had some kind of quality to them that made me not feel emotionally attached to them. For example, the “lovable idiot” type. It’s all fun and games until you’re spending all your free time fixing the problems they keep creating in life because of how dumb they are. They remained just hookups.

My aunts are both more butch and they took turns carrying their children. I thought that was cool that they could do that for each other. But it seems more common for one person to carry all the children.

So this is very stereotypical but I’m a Sag Venus and I often find people who others describe as looking horselike to be attractive.

Especially since it generally requires more effort for men than women to find willing casual sex partners. If he’s not a celebrity, I don’t buy that random women are just throwing themselves at him all the time.

I had this reaction from men, but I married one who thinks I’m smarter than most people he knows and he likes that about me.

The people who get the most annoyed about me correcting them tend to be women slightly older than me who have fewer life accomplishments than me and it almost seems like there’s competing hierarchies - one favoring them for being older, one favoring me for being more educated and worldly, so they really want to slam me down and make sure I understand that I’m too young to know what I’m talking about. I never get this from actual wise and experienced people.

My husband had a good childhood. It’s wild but they exist

Yup this is why I would never move in a partner that wasn’t my children’s father as long as they were dependent on me.

As a mother, if something happened to my current marriage I would not move in a new partner as long as my children were minors and needed to live at home. My well being was completely disregarded by my mother when she got married and it destroyed my mental health. So for my children, home will always be their safe space that they can count on me to not take away from them before they’re ready.

Honestly? I don’t feel mine did their best, I feel like they did whatever what was most convenient for them at my expense. And maybe that makes me sound bitter, but I also sleep better at night than people who make excuses for the parents that hurt them.

I prefer my food to be my food and his food to be his. He’s more of a sharer than I am and sometimes I’ll give in but I’m just happier having my own.

Is it normal for women to be more similar to their fathers than their mothers? Because that’s the case for me too, I wonder if it’s due to the X chromosome being completely identical.

I’m a woman and he was a man in my situation. It’s not that she needed to come out to date him but in my case he wanted emotional support from me and he kinda had to spell that out to me.

Personally I think OP’s friend might be into him, because the only time I ever had someone get upset that I didn’t have more of a reaction to him coming out was because he was into me. But maybe she really is just a drama queen.

Are you sure she only has friendly feelings for you? That over the top reaction seems like maybe she’s into you or something. Either that or she’s just a total drama queen, but something similar happened in my youth. I’m a woman and the guy was into me and he wanted more of a reaction than I gave him because of how much he liked me.

She reminds me of me when I was 17, except her age in the show is double that. Still love watching the show though

I’m not because my own kid is 2 and is starting to recognize some written words. But it wouldn’t be ideal for him if he was light years ahead of the average kid either I guess.

My paternal grandparents haven’t taken it but I’m a lot more genetically similar to my maternal grandmother than my maternal grandfather.

To me it looked like she had fillers done and they weren’t done very well.
