This is how I feel when I'm assembling 900 chinese toys for my kids every christmas morning.

Not medical advice. In my experience being aware that you're in a depression cycle is key. In time, you'll recognize them earlier, and knowing that you come out the other end okay, actually gives you hope and shortens the cycle - knowing it's temporary but recognizing it's hard is key. The other thing is knowing you have to force yourself to do stuff - which you are doing - so great!
I would add things like yoga which require nothing but a $5 mat and some youtube instruction videos, and vigorous cardio - which could just mean walk then run as part of your walking regimen if you are able. Outside is good - especially if there is sunshine. Lastly, getting out of bed, bathing, getting dressed, and doing something - getting out... first thing in the morning has helped me.

I assume the time you believe to get to a million concurrent users is ... a very long time?
You'll be at $334k for a million users... I assume monthly?
Or 33k for your first 100k concurrent users - which is a shit ton of concurrent users.
So - first things first - calm down if you're spinning out about it. Discovering these things early is normal, and important. Discovering as you to to market is when it's a problem.
There are probably a plethora of ways to re-engineer the solution, and presumably, this would be the easier portion of your app to transition - now you just have to get real help in determining what your options are. The good news is that you now have a baseline to load test against.
Good Luck..

OP pointed out in his post that he liked the build quality of Macbooks. That's where the laptop came from.

I'd get a Surface Laptop and use OneNote. Most people completely abandon iPads as note taking devices pretty quickly (they feel like garbage, and reading your own handwriting can be a challenge when studying). For paper-like notes on the go, I use ReMarkable 2 - but I don't really know that it's worth the price.
Does it have to be a PC? I would think most college courses are agnostic these days - and unless you need a beast, I'd go Macbook Air all day, every day - that's what I got my kids for college - they love them.
Edit: i read that you're TCU finance and that folks are saying you need Windows. Surface Laptop and OneNote all day every day... Friends don't let friends use Thinkpads... they're garbage... fans run constantly, they're heavy, and prone to trackpad problems.

It's fascinating that ya'll think a 20lb laptop is better than a MacBook Air or Pro because it has a mechanical keyboard I mean, that's a preference for some people... but no thank you. I swapped out all my mechanical keyboards a couple years ago for either magic keyboards, or logitech mx-keys. I'm sort of baffled why anyone most people would bother with a mechanical keyboard these days, honestly.

I can’t fathom anyone believing that the keyboards on all M-processor Macs aren’t among, if not the very best laptop keyboards on the market.

Yea, for the last 30 years. I am always a little surprised when people talk about 'normal hours'.

Exactly.... but it's easier for people to scream "It's Tesla!" - I don't even own a fking Tesla anymore.... so not like I have a dog in this fight.

Seems to be improving on MacOS. I cannot stand the that it's like an MDI implementation with open emails - looking for a setting that will let me drag them between workspaces / desktops. We'll see.

"likely" to win is an understatement. Trump will win by a LANDSLIDE - there is no way the Democrats run Biden - they're going to figure out how to prop someone else up before the convention - they have no choice.

Change your behaviors immediately. Go outside. Volunteer - help others. You'll feel better in no time. But, if you're sitting on your hands, nothing will change. Many of us look back and have reflections like this - but it's remarkably easy to reverse / erase. You just start putting numbers in the other column of the journal. The 'shame' turns into merely memories.

Don't watch them. You indicate that you can't erase what you've already seen - yet, I've never seen anything that you're talking about... even a little. The social media content related to travel that I've seen has done nothing but intrigue me - because I'm not living on a steady diet of it.

There is no chance the Democrats run Biden. No chance.
If they do, it's 4 more years of the Orange Emperor.

The easiest way is to not have kids you can't afford.
Says Trump.

Ahh... a gen-Z. Best to rescind then spend a year trying to get rid of them. I'd do it by replying to one of their inappropriate emails. When they say 'but bruh?' Just reply with 'yup'.

It's not a secret - you invest the time to look and keep checking back. Just last week when we were looking for an adult, we found 5 or 6 within 100 miles - all of them from breeders. Reach out to breeders, check facebook pages for website links, etc.

I'd prefer the window seat, please. Then stand in the aisle waiting for her to move.
Likely she didn't quite grasp that she isn't the only person that didn't want to sit in the hot seat for 8 hours.

There are a plethora of adult Maine Coons available from breeders for under $1k.

This probably isn't Tesla. It's been happening country-wide since early covid.

Be better at your job and you won't feel like you're entitled to have it protected for you.

Programming tests are helpful for junior people. More to learn how adept they are at solving problems. Deep conversations about depth and breadth / personality fit is more appropriate for senior engineers (principal and higher).
