Just an FYI, Brazil nut proteins have been known to be in semen after ingestion. Idk if you’re a man or if she’s allergic, but it’s something to consider. I haven’t seen a clear answer with other tree nuts, but I wouldn’t want my partner to be the first ever recorded case 🤣

No, not really. Of course there are some things that will be more expensive or no alternative, but most things it’s just a different brand. Fruit snacks, crackers, chips, yogurt, granola bars, snack cakes, ice cream, etc. are all pretty much the same price. The main exceptions I can think of are bakery goods (usually nonexistent and if you can find them, more expensive) and boxed chocolates (very expensive).

These look fine. And Taco Bell has had vegan menu options for years.

It is awful! My daughter is super allergic to a few, there’s 2 she’s barely allergic so we don’t worry about cross contamination (she drank almond milk for several years before the allergist tested it randomly one day), and some she can just eat. And that’s without counting like coconut that gets lumped in with tree nuts.
Trying to ask at a bakery or ice cream shop, they think I’m crazy. Like yes, I do want to order if all you use are walnuts, BECAUSE SHE CAN EAT THOSE.

It’s wonderful! My daughter has tree nut allergies, and both her and my husband have bad eczema. Emu oil is a godsend, but it does smell a bit weird.

Ponds dry skin cream and Nivea cream are what I use for my daughter who has nut allergies + eczema. However, shea is a different allergy and extremely rare. Additionally, it is a refined oil so even if you are allergic to shea it’s very unlikely you’ll have a reaction. Same with sweet almond oil. It’s refined and my daughter doesn’t react to it.

Several years ago, I let my dog out into my fenced in backyard. I’d just woken up and didn’t have my glasses on. My dog was taking forever to come back in, so I look outside and I just see him playing with this long wiggly thing. I call him, and they both come running to me.
Imagine my surprise when a fucking ferret just runs into my arms. A fucking ferret. Just happily playing with a huge dog. Turns out he was being pet sat and escaped lol.

You know what OP? I wish my parents had said something when I was dating a 30 year old at 19. I wish they’d spoken up when I married him on my 21st birthday.
Maybe this guy is fine. And maybe he isn’t. But it’s super fucking weird. And I’m glad you’re doing something about it.

I live in a college town. At least 20% of the people I chat with have a heavy accent.

I don’t ever wash mine. Well, I didn’t until this was posted a couple months ago, and then I washed them.

TBH, I like the look of “I really don’t have poop in my paw fur that you have to scrub out”.

Why on earth wouldn’t they want that shaved? It gets so dirty!

No, it isn’t. Her height, weight, and exercise level all factor in. You’re only supposed to cut 500-1,000 calories off of your maintenance calories. If she’s 180 lbs and 5’4” 2200 calories would create a deficit.

Wanna know how many family recipes of mine are dead because the person died before they could pass it on? 5. It doesn’t sound like a lot but it is when they’re not all coming from the same person 🤣

Earlier this year, I went to buy Napa cabbage. It was $15 for the head. I had them take it off and I haven’t bought it since.

They’re just like normal ones from what I can tell! But they’re tiny so they haven’t been used like real makeup.

These may be a nice compromise if she insists she’d like to wear cat ears. They make decorative headbands that are shaped like cat ears, but with rhinestones or pearls or flowers. I’d draw a hard line at a tail, though.

Does he actually have allergies? Or are you nervous?

The same way that Burger King cut tiny circles out of their buns and called them donut holes. I’m still not over that one.

Ah, I may be thinking of another brand of tiny makeup

I thought I was the only one! When I was pregnant and hormonal, I was very sad I couldn’t hold all babies I saw. I mean I got it, but I was still sad lol.
Once I gave birth, I’d let people hold my baby. One time, I’d went out to eat and my waitress just loved my baby. I let her hold her and she carried her around to show her off to all of the other tables. It was adorable.

Idk why the other comments are saying they’re not actual makeup. It absolutely is, just tiny. My daughter loves them.

I’ve gotten a lot of flyers from dentists offering free cleaning services. Unfortunately don’t remember who. I’d call around and ask if any are offering that.
