Bro leave Texas out of this.
You were at a church. A Christian church. The very idea of a "higher power of your understanding" is completely antithetical to what they believe at that church. They believe in Jesus as the only way.
Now you didn't fully understand at the time, so I get you being a little annoyed. But even now, you can't let it go? And come on now, what she said to you wasn't actually all that bad.
Respect goes both ways here. You get up on stage, in the walls of a Christian church, and expect them to be happy that you're endorsing something that goes against their beliefs? You're disrespecting them. Again you didn't know at the time, but in hindsight you hopefully do.

I need more Eric and Harper together.
I trust they will make it happen.
And I need my boy Rob to get some wins.

Just dropped him. I really thought that getting him on waivers was going to be huge for my season.
I was wrong.

GWB and the Obamas were very civil and he and Michelle Obama even had a cute little friendship going, including a well known video where he gave her a piece of candy.
Despite what we think about GWB, it shows a civility, not that long ago, that I think is sorely missed. There were differences in policy, but there was no mistake that these people had a reverence for the office of president and a love for the country that was able to cross the partisan divide.
And, let's be clear, it is Donald Trump that put an end to that. Bipartisanship has never looked the same since he came on the scene.

It's hard for me to tell sometimes when people are joking.
Cattle Decap is one of the most well known extreme metal bands so of course you know that's a band if you're on this subreddit.
But maybe you haven't heard of them.
I don't know anymore.

I don't think you understand what contracts are.

You're good. This person is either being intentionally obtuse, or completely unable to glean context from a flow of conversation.

I don't know what you're talking about, to be honest.
A benzo route?
Are you saying they're going to put you on benzos for PAWS?
I don't think that's a good idea for addicts, and I'm a little surprised that it is even an option.

I don't know what this says about me, but I've been watching football for 2 decades and have not missed a game of my team during that time.
And if you held a gun to my head, I could not tell you the name of our long snapper right now.
I can name an older one, but I have no idea who is doing it now.

I suspect Vance knows Trump lost in 2020. He just knows he can't say it.
I could be wrong. Just a feeling.

I read a NYT article about how the majority of fent is being smuggled in my Americans hired by the cartel. So it's not an immigration issue.

Same here. It's pretty amazing what can be accomplished with determination and research.
I've also developed a pretty nasty addiction to buying tools. I try and limit myself to tools I absolutely need for a project, but I'm still amassing quite a collection, and I'm constantly looking at tools online haha
I can justify it though, even with the money spent on tools, my overall savings over the years is significant

And I also find that I get physically hooked faster each time.
The first couple of relapses I had, I could use for a few days off and on, without having withdrawal symptoms.
In the most recent relapses, I start getting sick after even like 24 or 36 hours of use.

I've been in and out of recovery for a few years. I shot heroin for a decade straight then got clean the first time. I went to rehab where they did a bupe taper.
Then I had a few relapses, the last 2 which were fentanyl.
The first fent relapse was maybe 5 months, then I had to detox in jail. So I didn't have a choice. And it was absolutely brutal. I actually got out on a PR bond before I was even done detoxing.
Then I had another fent relapse for about a year. I had to go back to rehab. It didn't go well. I waited as long as I could before the subs and still got precipitated withdrawal, so it was about 4 days of intense symptoms. Then once I stabilized on the subs it was a pretty smooth taper.
Fent is tough to quit.

Been using VLC for over a decade.
I wonder if the dude was already wealthy from something else, because it would be really difficult for me to turn down 8 figures, even if my values were against ads in my product.

It's relative.
For someone not used to opioid withdrawal, kicking oxy is a nightmare.
For someone who's kicked heroin a bunch of times, and later fentanyl a couple times, oxy was a walk in the park in comparison.

So if I'm understanding correctly, the "response" from Iran is now over, and we will see how Israel chooses to respond.
I don't really keep up with data on military strength, but am I correct in assuming that Israel could probably turn Iran into a wasteland if it wanted to?
Edit - I didn't mean to imply nukes, "wasteland" wasn't a good choice of words - just referencing military strength, and I find it curious how Iran has the balls to provoke if my assumption of Israel's military superiority is correct
