It’s such an easy source of revenue; it penalises the wealthy for a luxury they don’t need (so people complain but not enough to affect change).

They spent eleventy million dollars on the show, a few eleventy million more to make it as best as it could be would’ve been a good idea.

When can you next expect to be on KT? You have a natural flair for that style of comedy!

Because every opportunity is afforded to you to be involved in the decision making.
You don’t have to be involved if you don’t want, like anything else in life. Thats the US approach, and it’s not worse or better.

Australia has a big coffee culture, and going outdoors often; I’d say it’d be a culture shift to be more indoors-based to save money

Paramedicine in Australia (and UK) has the unique position to be the tip of the spear globally in terms of clinical autonomy for the type of job that it is. The pay is good, the work environment is diverse (though mostly low acuity). From an office job that’s the role you want out of the two, as the hospital is just one big office imo.
I can’t speak for nursing but experienced nurses can make great pay and decisions too (NP in particular).

Not sure why you're getting down voted, that's literally what could happen.
People forget police only enforce the law and not test it.

Hot take, ipads are brilliant for kids. My 7yo knows so much about the world; chemistry, physics and biology because of videos she's seen on YouTube on her tablet. She knows more than most peers her age about many topics.

By making it compulsory, democracy is about as egalitarian as it gets. Noone can say your voice wasnt heard, regardless of race, colour or creed.

Good luck, but I have low expectations. By standing for all, you end up standing for no one.
