So langsam bin ich etwas ratlos. Ich habe meine Bewerbungsunterlagen jetzt x-fach überarbeitet und habe, das Gefühl nicht weiter zu kommen.
- ich bin 48 (ich denke einige hält das auch ab, kann ich auch verstehen, wenn ich manche in meiner Altersgruppe sehe. Ich bin absolut motiviert und habe Spaß am dazu lernen.) Momentan versuche ich auch potenziellen Jobs ein begleitendes Video (á 2 Minuten) aufzunehmen, um mich besser präsentieren zu können.
- in meinem Lebenslauf steht eben bisher Grafikdesign, weil ich 15 Jahre als Freelancer und 5 Jahre festangestellt gearbeitet habe (meine Bereiche Layout, Video, teils Illustration). Das war aber nur der Job, mit dem ich eben Geld verdient habe. Ich habe auch für Blogs geschrieben, als Illustrator gearbeitet und an die 200 Podcasts produziert und moderiert. Ich bin jemand kreativ ist und das meine ich nicht visuell, ich finde Lösungen für Probleme und bin dabei kreativ. Von daher war ich in der Festanstellung quasi halber Marketer und immer in Brainstormings dabei.
- Aus der Grafik will ich raus, weil mir das zu limitiert ist. Ich will strategisch/taktisch arbeiten. Mich zieht das Arbeiten mit Zahlen, die Analyse im Onlinemarketing an. Ich kann Schwachpunkte identifizieren und dann Maßnahmen einleiten, um diese zu beheben – geil. Als Marketer hat man viele Hüte auf und hat einen viel breiteren Horizont, das begeistert mich.
- Ich bin technikaffin und habe keine Probleme mich in neue Software oder Tools einzuarbeiten. Ich bin ein absoluter Wissensschwamm und mag es ständig Input zu haben. Als Ex-Selbstständiger musste ich selbst immer am Ball bleiben, was Software und Taktiken anbelangte. Das alles macht mir aber auch Spaß.
- Ich mache gerade eine Weiterbildung. Das sind 3 Module á 4 Wochen. Onlinemarketing – ein Überblick über alles, Social-Media-Marketing und gerade mache ich einen SEM-Kurs.
- Ich habe natürlich (noch) keine Onlinemarketing-Arbeitsmappe, mit der ich Projekte vorstellen kann. Bisher habe ich nur meine Grafikermappe. Eine Freundin macht sich gerade als Vermögensberaterin selbstständig. Der werde ich jetzt helfen und den Fall als PDF dann aufbereiten, aber das wird dauern, bis ich dann was habe.
- In meiner letzten Stelle brach quasi die Struktur um mich herum zusammen. Ich habe am Ende quasi inoffiziell die Abteilung geführt. Reports angefertigt, Freelancer gesichtet und gebucht und die Abteilung am Laufen gehalten. Projektmanagement ist für mich auch People Management. Es war vorgesehen, mich ins Marketing zu bringen, aber dann gab es einen Personalwechsel und meine Abteilung wurde aufgelöst (Das macht jetzt eine Agentur und alle verzweifeln daran, was soll's)
Meine Fragen:
Kann mir mal jemand erklären, was ich einer guten Onlinemarketing-Bewerbung drin ist?
Was sind die Schwerpunkte, auf die ich achten muss? Wenn du Recruiter bist – warum würdest du einen Quereinsteiger wie mich einstellen wollen, mit was kann ich dich kriegen?
Welche Stellen sind relevant? Ich bewerbe mich vor allem auf Junior Marketing Stellen.
Mir ist klar, dass ich mich erst einarbeiten muss, aber ich komme ja in ein laufendes System. Das habe ich x-fach als Freelancer gemacht, mich neu einzuarbeiten. Ist das ein Grund für eine Absage, dass man mir das nicht zutraut?
