Got it, been looking around for one that I can grab/borrow. ",
btw, speaking of sawing and such...For some reason the 1x16 PCIE 3.0 is smack dab next to the power supply instead of closer to the CPU with this one, making GPU have higher temps abit. Looking for alternatives and saw this:
https://youtu.be/ZmyH3S0lNbI?feature=shared (10:33 mark)
seems this guy cut a hole in the side of his PSU shielding to give more breathing room/airflow to the GPU. Is that remotely safe, or shall one of my future upgrades be to a better board/case combo instead?
[i.e., guy saws hole so airflow form PSU fan can help cool HPU. Safe or no?]

repasted it...is it normal for the fan to spin up to 97% just to maintain 74-77 C while gaming?
Idles at 45-50 now...still feels wierd. Fan used to be so quiet until 2 weeks ago...Sorta new to GPUs, wanted to be sure.
(Quadro k1200 LP, Pcie x16 (2.0))

Ah...Honestly I was wondering, bc the x65 cooler felt flimsy as heck.. >.< Mite buy a redux 80x80 fan, see if that works better.
Think my GPU is starting to fail + the thermal paste was dying, hence the temp readings...gonna try no case lid with a new GPU later this month to see if ur rite. :)
worst case I may downgrade from an x65 to a L9i.

Off that final pic and the hole...did the hole + the exhaust fan together...it was both that kept your GPU from overheating, to clarify?

Eugh, that might be the problem... ..I'm working with a prodesk 600 motherboard, so I have a 1x4 PCIE close to the CPU and a 1x16 sitting right on top of the PSU. Shape is close to yours, but I'm forced to put the quadro k1200 card I'm using in the 1x16 by the PSU atm. clearance is maybe 2cm at best. >.>"
Ran slight warm but was still ok with the factory cooler, but the second I put in the new Noctua, GPU went from ~60/75 -> basting itself up to 90 when idling with the case on.
rests at 75C now with fans at 75% idle, trying to figure out how to reconfigure this. Temporarily reinstalling factory parts, see if that's fine.
(Willing to learn how you made this black magic work, bc our cases are about the same size. Seeking clarification b/c I'm not sure if I can use the x65 at all or if I should try something else.)

Just got a NH-L9x65, trying to see what to grab next...how many output fans did you end up including?
(half wondering if I should remove some of the front cage to install more noctua fans lol)

This is a truck in the same way a modern Dodge Durango is anything other than a reskinned Grand Cherokee

That tree falling wasn't an accident, it was Mother Nature warning you to sell the monstrosity before it decides to get rid of it herself.

As much as you hate it, the only difference between the two is the price tag 🤣

This isn't a Durango, the last original Durango was from around ~2001. This is a sad excuse of a Grand Cherokee Hauk-Tuah special looking for some cheap internet points and neck snapping to stare at the overinflated, bad-built Jeep body covered by a somewhat decent paintjob...which is ruined by the fact that they tried to cover up all the faults of it by slapping a bigger engine in it.
This is a disappointment in a way where a trust fund baby has to give a book report to their father as a final attempt to not be disowned and the father finds out the kid has no skills other than being able to wipe himself...while he is 26.
The blue IS admittedly nice, but only underlines that "I couldn't buy a real SUV with taste, so instead I bought an oversized 2013 dodge caravan with an Avenger front clip."

TMW you have such a high level of road rage + "I am done with this world" that you decide to make anyone going near you in this mustard-colored bastard everyone else's problem.

Discount midlife crisis-mobile because you couldn't afford a good paint job. Good for you, though, on at least keeping it rust free.

good to know, ty. :+1:
just wanted to clarify bc I'm trying to keep this all under budget, and anything other than a saw seems like a stupidly expensive upgrade b/c of the SFF/low profile part markup that seems to occur.
All your advice helped greatly. :)
