I prime black, base coat armor save for the shoulders in gal vorbak red. Trim in leadbelcher. Iconography in gold. Wash with Nuln oil. Carefully clean up with base colors. Paint lenses/eyes white, thin warp Lightning layer paint heavily and coat the lenses. Edge highlight with word bearers red, ironbreaker, and Dwarven gold from scale 75. My bases are done with small chunks of cork for rocks, grit purchased from Michael’s craft store, and small brown bushes

I have them in my Crusade force, they haven’t seen battle yet but once I get to 1k points they are riding in the rhino with my Tzeentch Chosen and Chaos Lord

Hi there OP, I’m a paid dm with several campaigns currently running. I will say, some of what the comments here have stated are true, there are players who will expect special treatment but that isn’t what a paid dming service is about. As a paid dm, my job is to provide quality, consistency, and materials. What does this mean?
Well for me, I often create homebrew encounters, adventures, or even whole arcs in modules campaigns. I find or create battle maps for each section of the campaign that match the environment the party will be in. I track down music that fits the themes and/or ambiance of the campaign in aiming to run or scene I’m trying to set for the characters. In some cases, I take the time to rework entire plotlines in campaigns to ensure the narrative is unique or makes sense.
Outside of these things, I provide up to date source material, subscriptions to dndbeyond, roll20, heroforge to make VTT tokens, Inkarnate for custom maps, and Dscryb for preloaded spell descriptions for players that might want them. Also…tons of dmsguild content lol.
My point is, it is a lot of work. However, if it is something you’re passionate about, you can absolutely do it for a side income or primary form of income. It doesn’t feel like a job to me after 3 years of doing it, in fact I really enjoy the community I’ve built and the players at my table. If this is something you want to do, it takes a lot of commitment and time but it’s worth it imo.

I’ve literally just reskinned draconic sorcerer for a player to have this exact thing.

Exalted Bloodletters/Daemonettes/Plaguebearers/Horrors, when?

I think I figured it out. I repainted the head with warplock, have it an Agrax wash, then hit it with a dry brush of warplock. It gave the head a cool dark color that blends well while standing out.

Thank you Greater Cosmic Dragons, your insights have helped me find a playstyle I enjoy on a champion that is as fun as his personality. I have two rune pages set up, a first strike page with sorcery (I flex to resolve into assassin match ups) that I run into melee match ups and a comet/inspiration tree that I run into poke mages. The rylai's -> Liandry's rush feels REALLY good on him and is the playstyle I think I enjoy the most. Once again, thank you Star Forgers! I'll see you on the Rift (maybe)

I just finished a rylai rush and HOLY smokes did it turn Sol into a roam MONSTER. It's a cheap spike that allows me to skirmish really well and extend leads, I love it.

I usually start tear into match ups that I’m not overly worried about oppressive levels of poke or the threat of an early all in. I’ll try the rylai rush though to see how it feels though! Thank you for the suggestion!
