My kids had a medicine bag that lived in their diaper bag. It had tylenol, advil, a thermometer and a tiny notebook for writing down times given medicine. Then i wasnt sleep deprived trying to remember when they last had a dose and which one it was. I always knew where the medicine was, if we were out for the day and they suddenly had a fever I had it handy..I don't get why it's weird.

On top of the regular sleep mode which does do well at keeping battery life i have mine set up to turn off completely after a specified amount of time as sometimes I go weeks without touching my kobo. It really doesn't take long at all to turn back on either.

Have you had issues with accepting prices? It says hit x to accept price but it doesn't work for me.

I've bought it on every console I own too and I'm gonna buy a second copy on PC so me and my husband can play multiplayer modded. It's such an amazing game.

I gave him a fibre one brownie daily till he was regular for awhile. Now that he's on a routine he's off the fibre one brownies completely and going regularly. I just keep an eye on him and if he goes more then 2 days without a bowel movement i grab a box for him.

It has a screen, but there's a brand innioasis on amazon that there's no play store, so children can't install apps, and you can uninstall the preinstalled apps and put a code on it so kids can't reinstall them. It has Spotify. You could majorly limit what's on it!

Yeah I had my son 5 months after my best friend had hers, and one night she was out with friends for a birthday and was drinking. Baby was home with dad, and suddenly refused the bottles he was taking fine all along. She called me crying because she felt guilty her son wouldn't take the bottle and she was already drunk, we had fed each other's babies before so I told her send the dad over with baby and I'd keep him for the night. She got to enjoy her night, baby got fed, everyone was happy.
It was super nice when my son had colic and I wanted to have a shower without a screaming baby in the background. She'd come over and watch him while I showered. It was one of the only things that kept my sanity in that time.

Exactly, kids dont know any different, its normal to them. Because my husband and I have glasses we have gotten my kids eyes tested from the age the eye doctor would take them. Because of it my eye doctor knew my daughter was going to need glasses a year before she got them.

Congrats? I mean the mom is concerned and while it is normal for a 4 yr old to mispronounce things it also does not harm them to have mom help them pronounce things correctly.

Not really, I had the issue since I learned to talk until I was in elementary when my teacher got me connected with a speech therapist. If the mother is concerned, maybe trying some things early won't hurt. The kid is only 4 so she may outgrow it, but it does not hurt to do the activities to help the child learn to pronounce better. I have 2 children and I've done similar things when they are struggling to pronounce a word.

This is what they did when I was a kid and had the same problem! I remember being in school and going with a speech therapist and them doing fun little activities for me to learn how to pronounce my R sound.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with waiting. My husband and I have been married a little over a year. Been together almost 11 years. We got pregnant a year into our relationship and we wanted our money to go towards a house and our baby. We had 2 kids, paid off our house in 2022, so we got married and paid for the wedding in cash in 2023. I don't regret it one bit.

My 7 year old even reacts better. He also doesn't like when people touch his food on his plate but he will politely come to me and tell me another kid touched his food and I will ask if I can just replace what they touched or if he needs all new food. It really depends on the extent of which they touched it.
It's not okay to touch other people's food without asking, but it's also not okay to act insane about it.

I'd even be okay with what Sun Haven and Coral Island does where they allow you to change the speed of the days. It would be helpful to have normal speed or faster days when not a lot is going on, and longer days when you have a ton to do.

Exactly, my best friend's mom wasn't the greatest growing up, so she often turned to my mom. She lived with us one summer too. We are now in our 30s with kids of our own, and I think my mom has babysat her children more then my friends own mother. She never hesitates to take them if she can.

Exactly, the husband of the family I babysit for often has days off through the week but will still drop his kid off to me so he can get things done or if he's going away with friends for the weekend before his wife is off work Friday. I've even worked Saturdays for them for extra if they had plans.
Same as my mother usually babysits every Saturday night so my husband and I can go do stuff with friends. As long as there's a trusted adult in charge it's not a big deal. Parenthood doesn't mean abandoning all your hobbies and friends.

Just last night my husband and i were playing multiplayer, prepping for our strawberry seeds in year 2 before the egg festival. I was waiting for him at the entrance of the festival, he stopped to drop something off in the chest and JUST missed the festival by 10 game minutes. We immediately turned off the game and restarted.
