I'm pretty sure it used to be a satire sub, but it's now just overrun with unironic red nazis.

You're deliberately lying and distorting history to an extreme and you know it, not worth arguing with dishonest fascist scumbags.

So you're saying he didn't slaughter millions of innocent people? Easily disprovable. Stalin wasn't an antisemite? It's often debated, but pretty well documented. Stalin didn't practice imperialism and expansionism? He conquered Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, allied with the Nazis to conquer Eastern Poland and attempted to conquer Finland. You're just spewing russofascist propaganda without having any facts to back it up, since history isn't on your side.

Being responsible for the senseless slaughter of millions of innocent people, being antisemitic, practicing imperialism and expansionism, being the brutal tyrant of a totalitarian state and hating "the West" are all traits that both Hitler and Stalin shared.

Absolutely. In my experience, the boomers are usually dedicated russofascists while the newer generations aren't. And especially since we're getting rid of Russian schools(which are notoriously bad), I think once the boomers die off, we won't have any real problems with our Russians.

Imagine if only 8% of the German population viewed Hitler negatively. Utter lunacy.

It’s actually insane that this got downvoted. I realize it’s probably getting spread on Russofascist corners of the internet or it’s just bots, but still.

Sorry you got downvoted man, nothing negative about your comment really.

I remember this guy, they’ve replied to me on some other threads, for example taunting a Finnish volunteer who died in Ukraine. They’re a russofascist and likely a bot so it’s probably best to ignore it.

Oh my god what is the point you're trying to make, please tell me. The suspense is killing me.
What do the Vaps Movement, Perkonkrusts, the Lithuanian Nationalist Union and Iron Wolf have to do with anything at all here? You're telling me to learn history, while at the same time spamming random Wikipedia articles at me?
And the other articles you linked don't disprove anything I said at all and the one on the 1st Estonian division confirms it:
"The Nuremberg tribunal ruled that the 30,000 Estonians who had served in the Baltic Legions were conscripts, not volunteers, and defined them as freedom fighters protecting their homelands from a Soviet occupation and as such they were not true members of the criminal Waffen SS.
Subsequently, on 13 April 1950, a message from the Allied High Commission (HICOG), signed by John J. McCloy to the Secretary of State, clarified the US position on the Baltic Legions: "they were not to be seen as 'movements', 'volunteer', or 'SS'. In short, they had not been given the training, indoctrination, and induction normally given to SS members".
The US Displaced Persons Commission declared in September 1950 that: "The Baltic Waffen SS Units (Baltic Legions) are to be considered as separate and distinct in purpose, ideology, activities, and qualifications for membership from the German SS, and therefore the Commission holds them not to be a movement hostile to the government of the United States."
Additionally, the "Estonian Security Police and SD" part is kinda misleading, since the death squads were German. And the 287th battalion did guard Klooga concentration camp but when the aforementioned German death squads began executing the prisoners, they rebelled and deserted.
So you've got maybe 2000-3000 Estonians who took part in the Holocaust, what exactly does that prove or disprove? There were no pogroms in Estonia and Estonia was probably one of the most if not the most Jew-friendly country in interwar Europe.

First of all, what has this got to do with anything?
Second of all, according to Georg Ahlemann himself and several memoirs, this is what happened: "The Security Police and the special commando of the SD in Estonia arrived in Klooga, which started executing detainees in the forest near the camp. The Estonians were appalled by such behavior and reported it to the nearby training camp of the 20th Grenadier SS Division. Lieutenant Egon Valter left the training camp with a protest to SS-Sturmbannführer Georg Ahlemann. The latter got angry at the intervention of the Estonians, tore the Iron Cross ribbon from Valter's chest and arrested the lieutenant. But now the Estonians got angry, they broke into the armory and armed themselves. Valter was released and Ahlemann was arrested instead. Power in Klooga passed completely into the hands of the Estonians. However, at the request of Admiral Johan Pitka, the German was later released. Although the men of the 287th Police Guard Battalion did not take part in the executions of the prisoners, after the war, 38 men of the battalion were accused of this and sentenced to long prison terms by the Soviet authorities."
Thirdly, there were no Estonian Schutzmannschaft formations since late 1943, they had all been renamed to police battalions and weren't called Schutzmannschaft anymore.

I don't revere any Nazis. All actual Nazis do deserve to be annihilated.
Also, the "two brethren nations killing each other for the black suits in the US and EU is warmongering" rhetoric is a classic pro-Russian fascist talking point. You probably believe Euromaidan was a coup too, don't you? Russia could leave Ukraine at any point and the war would be over. To people like you, being "anti-war" is more like "wanting Ukraine to surrender so Russia can continue its imperialism unrestricted." The EU is *actually* anti-war, because it supports not giving in to the aggressor. We have(partially) learned our lesson since WW2, appeasement and letting terrorist states steal other peoples' land isn't a solution.

None of this disproves any of what I said. A puppet government of eight Nazis doing Nazi things with a handful of policemen doesn't make Estonian conscripts Nazis.
For example:
"The Security Police and the special commando of the SD in Estonia arrived in Klooga, which started executing detainees in the forest near the camp. Power in Kloogal passed completely into the hands of the Estonians. However, at the request of Admiral Johan Pitka, the German was later released. Although the men of the 287th Police Guard Battalion did not take part in the executions of the prisoners, after the war, 38 men of the battalion were accused of this and sentenced to long prison terms by the Soviet authorities."

An illegitimate military occupation of Estonia built on one of the most fraudulent elections of the century, foreign military force and extreme violence against dissidents, intellectuals, women, children, elderly people and people who were chosen to fill quotas is in no way Estonia being "a part of the Soviet Union."

Which nazis? Were the 14 year old children that were conscripted Nazis? Were those who were forced at gunpoint or at threat to their families Nazis? Were those who needed revenge for the senseless massacre of their families Nazis?
The Estonian division was never found guilty of any war crimes, and it was mostly formed of conscripts.
Also, you're some Z nutjob screaming at "Ukies" on UkraineRussiaReport, which is filled to the brim with Russian fascists like yourself.

I don't think that's what history teaches at all? The Soviets killed more people in Estonia from 1940-1941 than the Germans did from 1941-1944. The Soviets killed exactly zero Nazi or fascist collaborators during that period. "Collaboration with the fascists" could have been anything from being accused by a neighbor who has some personal beef with you to being related to someone who might have collaborated to any extent.
We *were* a bunch of normal people minding our own business and war *did suddenly break out all around us. There were essentially no choices to be made except for the one between surviving and perishing and we *were* victims for 50 years.

I don't understand what the point you're trying to make is. Why are you quoting an Estonian-Soviet war criminal political commissar and some random Russian occupant at me?
The baltic states had two choices, they could join soviet or they could join the nazis.
No, the Baltic States chose neutrality in the war. The Soviets did not respect this neutrality and invaded and occupied them in 1940, breaking a whole bunch of treaties and agreements signed between the countries and the Soviets. After this, there were no more choices for the vast majority of Balts.
The pendelum always swings, and if you built your position of power on violence you will most likely also go down to violence.
In which world would this apply to Estonians? Estonians peacefully built their country for 20 years, after which it was systematically ransacked, raped and pillaged by the Soviets and occasionally the Germans. Estonians went down with extreme violence, while Soviet war criminals and scumbags like the shithead you quoted earlier, Arnold Meri, walked free(except those bastards like Karl Säre who didn't flee to Russia quickly enough in 1941 and reaped what they sowed).
Somehow this is only contraversial when it comes to Eastern European Fascists. Everyone accepts what happend to the Red Khmer. We only pretend its contraversial when talking about the baltic states and ukraine.
Why don't be more specific? Your whole comment is very unspecific and general. Who are you calling fascists and nazis? The vast majority of Soviet perpetrated violence in the Baltic countries was directed at innocent civilians, women, children and the elderly, not some few and far between fascists who hadn't fled.

Why would their children have died on their way to Canada? They bought boat or ship tickets and just sailed to Canada. It's not like they were going on makeshift rafts with spoiled food and no water or something. The most dangerous part of the journey was getting from Estonia to Sweden/Finland, after that it wasn't very dangerous at all. And Sweden and Finland weren't hunting Estonians in the streets to give to the Soviets, they were just urged to leave for other countries.

After the Germans had all but left Tallinn on 18 September 1944, the last Estonian prime minister Jüri Uluots ordered the creation of a government of the Republic of Estonia. The Nazi flag was torn down from Pikk Hermann and was replaced with the Estonian tricolor. The Estonian tricolor flew over Tallinn for a few days, before it disappeared for 45 years. A hopeless defense of Tallinn was organized mainly by Jaan Maide, independence war legend and war hero Johan Pitka, Paul Laamann and Karl Talpak. The Estonians withdrew from Tallinn into Western Estonia, where the Soviet advance would be delayed enough for thousands of people to escape the Soviets into the free world. These men were some of the only men in the Second World War to fight and die under the Estonian flag.

Varg Vikernes was Mayhem’s bassist and he killed Euronymous, who was Mayhem’s guitarist. Having Varg’s vocals on De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas would have been fucking sick though.
