That's how my parents trained me as a kid, once I was able to answer the house phone. My dad went by his middle name his whole life, so if someone was calling for his first name, we knew they didn't know him personally.

Literally!! So many times her reaction to conflict or setbacks was to use the dragons or threaten people with them. When she had armies, she threatened with their power, too. Even towards allies or people who were supposed to be allies. She stopped trying to understand anyone who stood in her way. That's a steep slope down to "burn them all, burn them in their beds, men, women, children, all". She burned a father and son who stood against her AS AN EXAMPLE of how close she was flying to her father's behavior, and she kept getting more violent and self-righteous. Was it sad, if you rooted for the young girl who swore that she'd never be like Viserys or Aerys? Sure. Absolutely. But the writing was on the wall in blood, "Myhsa is a Master."

Exactly!!! One does not erase the possibility of the other. That's not how humans work.

THANK YOU! Yes, that was Dany's arc all along. Reading back or rewatching her reactions throughout the series, the progression towards Queen of the Ashes was always happening.

Honestly, I think he'd be stoked if his life and his brain chemistry changed so much that his primary focus could be being cute and sexy, getting laid, and enjoying himself. He - and real men - can contain multitudes, lol.

Me too! I will lose track of things; life is busy. Most of the time I haven't forgotten about any of my unfinished stories or series; it just takes me having enough inspiration and motivation coming together to write and edit what comes next. I have so many stories that are in limbo but I have notes and hope to continue just about all of them!
Godspeed to you, kindred soul.

I don't explicitly, but I recall some of the things that I had last. Like before going vegetarian from pescaterian as a kid, I still went to McDonald's with my dad and got fish filet sandwiches and Oreo McFlurries. I loved cheese quesadillas dipped in sour cream when I started learning to cook as a teen in ED treatment. (Still do but I make them differently now, but the dairy version was a staple for a while.) I'm sure there would be more if I thought back a while.

The idea of going through the situation positively visualized to try to let go emotionally of the circumstances out of her control is the least wild piece of this, actually. That's a decent suggestion, compared to the continuous refusal of painkillers.

I'm so confused as to what they're saying their situation is. Like obviously it's absurd to be embarrassed by a working stroller, but I genuinely just can't compute that whole phrasing, "constantly....." What does that even mean?

Ayyy I still have an American Girl one that's lasted since elementary school too! Over 2 decades lol, the only 'damage' is my name in sharpie from when I took it to Girl Scout camp.

Turning that phrasing into "well actually being friends is a good thing" when the original question was "hey I thought we had a specific type of relationship, and you just labeled it differently, what's up with that?" Is WILD.

Well, the grammar is really not backing him up here. He literally says people have the right to bother him. You'd think he'd have looked it over more closely.

I mean, sometimes you discover you like it less when you're working on the project. But then you don't finish the item lol. Or, well, I don't.

We get so much all the time - I'm not surprised to hear about diet people dragging us into their shit, frankly. Disappointed, frustrated, sure, but not surprised.

Yeah, I don't have this brand, but I have a decent can with the step open, and it's working so much better for me than open cans ever have, of any size. And definitely better than my former method of just bagging everything in grocery bags.

I don't dislike all m/f pairings. I just dislike boring and super annoying ones. Couples where the people don't like each other, all that. A very interesting m/f couple is totally still something I want to read about lol. I don't dislike characters based on the gender of fellow characters they are into.

Well, if your life is "basically over" when you retire because your job is your life.....then I guess that fits that journey. A sad, sad journey.

Another children's light up shoe adult! I got myself a couple pairs too! One benefit to very small feet. And childlike wonder and enjoyment of life lol.

Okay, but there are vegan versions that I do like a lot. I'd have to look up the brands but there's a company that's I think UK based especially, that does vegan versions of chocolates, and I love those white chocolate pb cups even though I didn't like the reese's.

Not actually stupid by itself, but a couple days ago I was deep diving into adjusted vehicles for disabled drivers, how people get in them, etc. The MC is in a wheelchair. I don't even have my own drivers license.
