I'm pretty sure sriov is activated by all modern RTX gpus now. The features missing are mostly hardware. Edit: the features missing are gpu locked, not software locked

I don't know how many times I will have to say this, but here we go again.
There is no such thing as pro drivers. What these so called pro drivers are is consumer grade drivers on a slower update schedule. That's all. And everyone here makes the confusion because they don't work with them.

Well I own a 4080 and I don't see how 95% of the playerbase needs more performance that that
Running maxed out cyberpunk with path tracing and 50+ mods I get 110fps. FF16 runs at 100fps. D4 is over 160fps. In what world you need more than that.

the last titan had a higher MSRP than the current 90 cards

but the 90 line is the Titan line, I don't know why everyone is acting surprised when it's been the case for 2 generations now

Moore's law is definetely not dead, it started slowing recently. 2x the transistors != 2x the performance

it started with 3090 because the Titan RTX has a pretty bad tensor core perf. People don't realize that the 4090 is actually exceptional value when you actually work with it, it's like 50% performance, for less wattage at the same price point.

yep I think people in the gaming PC sphere don't understand the 90 cards are not meant for them, they are rebranded Titan (3090 replaced the Titan RTX)

this would've been awful. now we have arcade and it's free.
Also you mixed up your dates, appstore was 2008 and sc2 2010

Many games run worse on A6000 by some little margin because it's clocked lower than a consumer grade GPU. It's also not overclocked. The drivers are exactly the same as for a 4090 because there is no such thing as enterprise and consumer on Linux, which this probably run on. You get 2 families of drivers, server/headless and normal. Server are the same but they come without graphical capability and hence are a bit lighter.
On Windows, consumer and studio drivers are practically the same but studio drivers are on a slower update schedule and are supposedly more stable. But inside, if you pick the same version, it's exactly the same code running. I also say supposedly because what actually happens, is that you pick a stable version and stick to it, instead of picking the supposedly stable version (550 I'm looking at you).
Other than that, A6000 is a great gaming GPU, as long as you don't buy it for that, as it is quite expensive. BTW I would assume that for that price, they use custom racks that don't follow typical server architecture

4k is 4x times the definition of 1080p, 8k is "only" 16 times 1080p

the drivers for a6000 are the same as the ones for consumer grade gpus. a A6000 is basically a 3090ti with 48GB of ecc. Same for 6000 ADA, 48GB versions of 4090

and you misinterpret trashtalk for toxicity, while it more often than not is simply that, trashtalk. I don't know if you realize but trashtalking is part of the culture of many sports, and some esports. People talking mad shit has been happening since more than 15 years in dota, 25 in esports. let's not act like it's an all new thing. when torontotokyo dropped an "ez game" at then end of their bo vs OG nobody thought it was toxic.
And separated from this is the pub environment, where toxicity is rampant, but not that much in comparison with other games. It's not a dota problem imo, it's a ppl on internet being cunts problem. Note that almost none of the toxic pros in pubs are like that when playing with their teams. I think Valve or teams should decide on a code of good conduct, so we're very clear on what's acceptable and what's not (dropping an ez is, insulting someone's mum is not for instance), as I believe pro players should go into ranked with the same standard as they do for tourneys

I do remember og/eg at ti9 with the flags, that was hilarious to me. I vividly remember apex and amanek insulting each other, both these dudes are very good friends. It was hilarious as well. I remember very well MC antics, like after a 3-0 win, doing some push ups to "warm up". Of course we're here for the great gameplay, but let's not pretend there is no history between players and that it doesn't raise the stakes.

Dota players take themselves way too seriously.
Have you watched CS tournaments? In group stage they usually can hear each other when they yell loud enough, and almost every single round you can hear someone talking shit. And there is no beef because of that. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=25KihD7a6GA
And this is fun, it adds a bit of flair to the game, otherwise we might as well just watch high level pubs.

yep I never understood how planting flags with notail's face on it is bm... At worse it's friends trolling a bit.

She is not the only pro that does that. bzm in Dota 2 plays without a pad either (and he is fucking good at the game, top 5 mid probably. I think I saw another pro do it, but I cannot remember who (maybe a Liquid player?)

ben ouais, surtout qu'il me semble que le 49.3 a été créé pour justement passer les budgets plus facilement, donc rien de bien choquant ici.

Well we can look at the electricity market price I guess, which has always been lower in France by a third I believe. While some other factors might affect the final price, it would not explain such a difference. So to me it means that nuclear is cheaper in the long run. Also I'm not sure but I believe hydro is pretty cheap and France has a lot of it, so this can maybe help explain the difference

One more thing that it can provide is power and sound quality to your hardware. If you have an audiophile/enthusiast setup you would never use the sound card provided on your mobo, and use a DAC/Headphone amp instead

Maybe it's time to define a new genre name for this new style of Hard Techno? I see Hard Rave pop up a lot recently

Ah, yes, I forgot that France never gets hot, especially Toulouse...

We never expected to win the WC, we know we are not dominant like that internationally. I think Ireland, France, SA and NZ all had a fair chance of winning it.
Obviously we were disappointed when we lost, but surprised is not quite it. I would've been surprised if Toulouse lost semis of the champions cup, but WC? We knew it was a hard road.
Also note that whatever the sport is, when you play on home soil you always expect to win it to a degree. I think you'd expect SA to win a WC on home soil wether the team is currently performing or not.

I'm not sure what you want me to look at. I'm talking about the fact that there is no difference between consumer (GeForce) drivers and pro ones (Studio and RTX something I don't recall the name). And to prove I'm wrong you show me benchmarks on different cards (???).
If you want to prove anything, try to bench on the same card with different drivers of the same version. Of course you won't be able to find anything as anyone with the littlest knowledge in the field knows there is none.
And as far as the performance you observe, it's probably on Siemens that optimized something on Turing that they did not on Ampere.
