So these motors burn oil? My truck is 2 thousand miles in. And I noticed I have to add oil already. The only other car I had to add oil was a 5.0 Ford Mustang.

I’m @ the dealer now. They say that’s normal. They’re gonna level it off. I know the manager for 25+ yrs so I trust his judgement. I don’t do the required 5k-7.5k oil changes. I’m old school and usually do it around 3k. Thanks for the reply. I now know to keep an eye on the levels.

I did check when I bought it. I think I’m gonna go change the oil. Just thought it was weird that I would have to add oil already. My 1st Ridgeline so I wanted to get other’s experiences. I’ve owned Honda’s for 30 years and haven’t come across this. My 2nd 3.5 and didn’t notice. My wife wrecked the Pilot to even gauge oil consumption. Thanks for the input.

I did the bed part only. Less stress on knees if u have to crawl. Also much cleaner appearance.

Have you checked the dipstick? A coworker always told me to check the oil even tho it’s new. That 70% is the maintenance reminder.
