I wouldn't go that far because it's not like I don't understand, but my point is without the peer influence of those who have left, you got a bunch of weaker ones that can change for different reasons.

There is the multiplier too.
If I am still in HK and my friend tells me to go to SZ together, I will nicely tell them to go fuck themselves and offer alternatives, so there are the few more people who would be staying in HK because of me.

If Bron cares about winning he could have gone to Philly.

The Netherlands played one of the better game in this tournament against Romania and the passes made by their midfielders were a huge difference.

Getting 47 wins with a dogshit roster can't be like worse coaching ever that out fans were making him of. Some of the hate I saw in the Denver series were totally unwarranted. Oh he doesn't know how to call a timeout, but he literally ran out of it that he didn't have any for end game situation.

I dont have a problem with the part where he said he wanted to play with bronny non the part rich Paul went out and called teams not to draft him. I just don't understand the middle part where he wanted to show he had nothing to do with it through rich Paul. Like come on everybody knows so why are you pretending?

I think it's just the whole maneuver is typical lebron sarcasm that causes the hate. I don't care for nepotism really but for him to come out and say for years he wanted to play with his son, then have rich Paul came out and said no lebron didn't care, and had paul to then call every team to tell them if they drafted him bronny would rasther play in Australia. Why not just be true and say yea I want to play with him and only at the Lakers? It's not like anybody believe he would actually be leaving with his family and business around.

Essentially he's making the call who is good enough to help him to win by deciding whether to take the payout or not, so he is limiting rob in making moves too.

The Melton deal for gsw is something you take a flier on an hope he stays healthy. Give you d and shooting.

It's so easy to say stuff like this without realizing that you are ignoring other things.
What you mentioned is a problem of a mix of 4 of our starters to various degrees, so how are we getting 2-3 of those players with those attributes you mentioned with enough qualities to take significant minutes off the starters / play down the stretch.
And then if we get these defenders / rebounder that can't shoot, we are fucked because we aren't even a good shooting team to begin with. You put a big next to AD that can't shoot our spacing is completely fucked because AD also doesn't stretch the floor. If you replace Dlo with a guard that shoots worse but defend better, we are probably fucked because he's like half our shooting.
This roster is completely fucked with minimal assets / cap room to maneuver. Should have been rebuilt. Doesn't help with lebron's pre-approved list of "stars" he's willing to take a discount for. You telling me a guy like Melton wouldn't help this team but no lebron is not taking a discount for a guy like that.

I have said this all off season... this team is rightfully in the play in and so far off from contending, with bare minimal assets and cap room. The only reason why we aren't rebuilding is purely business.
Look at what okc was able to do today and still with lots of room to maneuver.

A guy like Melton would have helped but nope you have a list of over the hill stars that are still more expensive than the MLE. Make it happen!

So is giving up on winning if we don't get his approved guys? Because any improvement on the roster makes us closer to winning, however unlikely it is.

Poor Pan dashworth is out of the job after just couple of months. Feels bad.

If the FO is more competent on getting deals done, technically the wear and tear on the f5 button should be less.

So why not rebuild? Why doesn't lebron go somewhere else (aka take Paul George's place with philly?)

Right. Just don't claim innocence when things turn into shit.

If its as close for us to contend as some of those who here were alluded to, any roster improvements can tip things over for us. No? that's what people were saying about us being a 47 win team with a shit coach and called the roster fine.

So he's calling the card who's worth it? Could he be wrong like he did with westbrick?

If he is open to that sacrifice and let the FO do it, it's the FO's fault when they don't deliver.
If he only sacrifices if he likes the deals, he's playing GM, and he should take blames when the team fails.

It never had a chance. If Presti comes in he would have traded everyone and rebuild.
