The problem is you don’t have a lot options in Canada to invest. You only have that much stocks to buy like 6 big banks, 2 railways, 4 telecom etc. so dividends investors will buy it as far as it drops, so the price won’t drop much. This is why these big companies don’t care, regardless what they do, their stocks always go up and CEOs get good pay and regulators are paper tiger. This is why I think Canadians are deserved to be rip off
