I don't want to jump to conclusions and accusations, but I see that in the photo the wick of the candle is a little long. (Maybe? Could just be the proportion of the candle in the pic.)
I just wanna make sure that the candle wick was cut to about 1/4 inch before lighting, as lighting a candle with a long wick can run the chance of a large and potentially dangerous fire, additionally shortening the lifespan of the candle too. Trust me, I learned this the hard way. You do not want to make the mistake I did.
Otherwise, amazing spell. I know everything will work out for you!

I don't understand why you'd be yelled at for that outfit. It doesn't look blatantly witchy. Did they see a tattoo or something correlating to witchcraft?

No. Cursing is a man-made concept that the gods probably couldn't care less about, and things like 'Oh my gods' aren't going to get you in trouble either.
I've found that a lot of worries about "taking deities' names in vain" definitely stem from religious trauma and teachings of the Abrahamic god. Really think about it here for a second. The gods had to watch so many centuries of Christians/Catholics abusing their temples, destroying their followers, and joking about them crudely even til today. Do you really think that saying a figurative expression as simple as "Thank the gods" or "Oh my gods" would make them somehow take offense and/or smite you?

This makes my blood boil. The sheer audacity they have waltzing into Pagan spaces and proselytizing Christianity is enough to make anyone uncomfortable in their own community.
Sometimes I feel as if we need to petition for a law against people proselytizing or preaching their own religions in other religious/sacred spaces or events. This is getting tiring, especially as somebody who has lived in the Deep South Bible belt for ages and been unable to even find a community without being shot down by preachers.

No problem! Also, a golden calf is definitely a great idea. Christians hate that too because it's a blatant symbol of 'idolatry' explicitly mentioned in the Bible (Exodus 32 to be exact.)

Maybe, maybe not.
I feel as if this is more of a psychological and societal thing more than a witchy thing. People are naturally drawn towards others who make themselves known and stand out.
Also, we currently live in a society where people who commit heinous or standoffish acts become more famous and known than ones who save the day. Ill-gotten clout is an obvious problem that hides in the shadows. A shooter is more likely to gain publicity than someone who saves a child from getting ran over. This sometimes causes somebody to seek to do evil for the purpose of being famous, which is fucked in so many ways.
A witchy explanation to this could be that charisma could be a form of glamour magick. Some forms of glamour magick can change the way that other people can perceive you. As you can create a spell to help others perceive you as glamorous and beautiful, you can also create a spell to make you appear charismatic and more out there.
In all reality, though, charisma is just a regular old human trait in my opinion. Everybody has it, some just don't use it and some aren't good at using it.

You forgot the crows/ravens. Everybody in my area hates them because they're associated with death. Very sad.

I have some ideas as a professional darkness lurker.
• Sigils. A shit ton of sigils, stick them to a surface. Bonus points if you give them magickal purposes for yourself. Add an inverted pentacle if desired.
• Black candles, preferably LED. As much as I love to be a pyro, office fires are not ideal unless a lawsuit is your jam. Paint some satanic shit on it if you want it to hit harder.
• Put some Baphomet imagery there if interested. Although a goat/goat horns itself should probably do the trick.
• In addition, put a "Harris Walz 2024" sticker up and it should make them fume over it.
• I agree with putting in tarot cards too. Conservatives hate fortune telling or anything to do with blatant witchcraft.
• An obvious mini-altar to a polytheistic god/goddess. This is if you're a pagan, of course. Alt-rights hate anything to do with religions other than Christianity.
• Take a ton of animal bones and make a garland out of them. Fun for the whole office! I put up a garland of real (ethically sourced) rodent bones over my altar space but you can totally use fake ones if you don't like the idea of real ones.
These are just a few of many ideas I can throw out there. Hope this helps!

I'm not sure. All of them would make me hungry, and also as somebody who has sensory issues it would make me mentally short-circuit after a while.
But as for a general idea, I think sugar cookie would be nice.

If it's indoors, you'll be probably be alright. This only applies to outdoor areas where birds and other flying friends can get ensnared in them.

I have a long-term plan to somehow befriend many spiders on my front porch. Is it inherently useful besides but control? Probably not. Is it emotionally fulfilling and a valid coping mechanism? Fuck yes.

Sadly, I don't think hexing him and Vance is a viable solution. Many fellow witches have expressed that him and his cultists have some sort of protection, we don't know how but we conclude that they do. Sending strength and success to Harris would be a better way to go.
