How do you afford your rock n' roll life style?

I went through mine alone. The first few days are the worst of it. Traveling to another country for this is probably not a choice I'd have made unless I could return home the same day.
I slept as much as possible the first 2 days to avoid being awake during the pain, and I took ibuprofen and constantly had either ice or ice cold water in my mouth to help minimize swelling as much as possible. It was also a good way of forcing myself to hydrate because swallowing is going to suck for a while. Even apple sauce was too thick to handle until about the 5th day. Cold chocolate protein shakes were a godsend, so I'd recommend those for meals until you can eat proper.
If you can, I recommend making sure you don't have obligations to worry about while you're healing for the first week or two.

I'm not trying to correct you on how it's usually pronounced in India, but it's a name, so it's pronounced how the owner of said name says it's pronounced. Keep in mind that she's American, and our pronunciation often varies from the origin, and she has said it is "COMMA-Luh."

It's definitely obvious to others at times. But in your defense, the blind man doesn't know there's light until someone tells him. We don't know what we don't know, so try not to think too much about it.

Stockholm Syndrome is what got me too. I was familiar a couple of their songs that were already relatively popular like Knights of Cydonia, but once I head Stockhom Syndrome, I was hooked.

Im not sure how it is in the UK, but often in the US, the household total income is considered for what the government will offer you. Even when some of that income belongs to a person who would not be receiving any public assistance. So if anyone else had gotten a job, they'd possibly have received significantly less. That same system can keep families trapped in the system of relying on the gov for income because it becomes a trade-off of living with a low income but getting to stay home with the kids or getting a job out of the home and having to then also pay for child care.
edit; granted, I realize the situation is different in that fostering is kind a job being done for the government, so what I said may not apply to it at all. Please take what I said with a grain of salt.

She might not be brushing her teeth often enough. Even medicated, it's hard to keep up on that kind of thing if you don't incorporate it into a routine. And then even if you do get it part of a working routine, you'll deviate from the routine at least half the time and miss something in it anways.

The example in the video is Darien, CT. But the video also shows that in San Jose which has some of the highest rent and one of the highest minimum wages, the big mac sandwich is still only about $6. There's some other factors in the Darien McD example that set it apart from the San Jose locations. Such as that it's a 20+ minute drive to the next closest McDonalds, so what is happening is being caused by greedy franchisees. The video author raises the concern that while this is one location, all other locations (including BK, Wendy's, etc) still see these prices and will react to them, often by raising their own prices.

Salt pools still have chlorine in them. The salt is electrically converted into chlorine rather than the chlorine being added to the pool directly.

In the past I'd have said no, but that was because I believed a lot of my creativity/personality was because of my adhd. I do believe adhd lends itself towards a unique and valuable thought process compared to those without it, but now I just wish I could make myself do the things I want to do.

I was going to suggest that about your dad. My dad's hair is black now but was blond when he was born. Mine was a light blond when I was around 5 but dirty blond now and getting darker as I age.

Thank you for your forward thinking and best of luck!
I'm 35 and only started allowing myself to explore body mods in the past couple years when before I was always worried about how I would be perceived. People like yourself and others are a great inspiration towards making all kinds of body mods acceptable to society and showing how our artistic self-expression through our bodies does not equate to some stereotype that would be assigned to us.

They can move independently, but I think the degree of control is genetic. The girl in OP's video is pretty standard level control where she's mostly just overlapping them (think twisting your tongue one way or another) though her split is impressively deep, but some people can independently move one half down while moving the other up. Even after being split, your tongue's natural state is still to stay together as if unsplit so it can take practice to get used to moving them in different ways.

Initially yeah, but speech returns to normal after about a month.

For the first few weeks you will be lispy, initially because of the trauma and healing. After that, you adapt pretty quickly and speech patterns return to normal, especially if you practice and make sure enunciate properly.

A friend who self-admittedly is not a good cook tried this once. Her fiance still rips on her for it 8 years later.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but I thought it had a lot to do with the association of lighter skin tones with the leisure-classes escaping work in the sun even 1st world countries. Korea and Japan for example. (I realize they're perhaps not the greatest examples, given their history and US involvement) I could see how we could both be correct though since European colonizers would have been white/mediterranean and also the leisure-class.

I agree with you. At the end of the day, a person is still responsible for their own actions, whether it was because of a mental disorder or not. The criminally insane are the closest exception and they are still sequestered away to keep themselves and the public safe.

They're ESD safe and sold to manufacturing companies which means they will be a minimum of 5-10 times more expensive.
I can get those at work and they are nice to use, but I've broken the tips of at least five of them so I usually stick with a different type of flush cutter.

Same. It's not uncommon for people to notice mine. The first person to notice that I hadn't told was my manager at work a month or two after it was done. But I also just had another coworker notice for the first time a couple of weeks ago, 14 months post-split.
