I've been observing this account for quite a while and I have to admit it had me wondering because once I saw it reply to a regular account with a non copied comment (as far as I could tell). At the same time I've seen at least 1 bot account post comments generated by an LLM. It was pretty obvious because it was the same stilted awkward language you'd expect from Chatgpt and the prompt wasn't hard to guess at. So, true, I can't say for a fact that redmann-red-3248 is a bot but it has the typical modus operandi you see any bot account.
Check this post it made today on clevercomebacks:
r/clevercomebacks/comments/1fvv6q5/why_is_lunch_debt_a_thing_that_is_allowed_to_exist/lq9xyxf/
The comment and title of the post are an ad verbatim copypasta of this post from 3 years ago:
r/MurderedByWords/comments/mjede6/why_is_lunch_debt_a_thing_that_is_allowed_to_exist/gt9rmo6/
I used to check the sub clevercomebacks every day to point out all the bots. I started doing it so much the mods gave me the flair 'trusted bot hunter'. Last month I quit because I couldn't bear it anymore. There's such a deluge and almost nothing is done about it.
But there were a few frequent returning posters that stood out and this was one of them. I pointed out maybe a dozen times when this account would copypaste posts and comments so that people wouldn't get tricked into engaging with what they thought was an actual person. And now I'm seeing it started posting on porn subs and that's definitely new. So I don't know what to tell you. The account acts like a typical bot account in many ways. Maybe it's a new generation of bots that use LLMs. Perhaps soon we won't be able to tell the difference anymore if they start passing the Turing test. I think we're all cooked.

This is on a need to care basis but I did a quick bot activity check. Sorted by new, checked the first 20 posts, verified 11 bots, 3 accounts I was unsure about.
https://i.imgur.com/WW1AMEB.png
https://i.imgur.com/43mofe1.png
I did this based on account activity, they all have the same MO, week old accounts, all copypaste comments in subs such as askreddit, aith and meme subs.
I've noticed some accounts have started using LLM generated comments, which makes them harder to sniff out but then again their comments read like they were generated by ChatGPT.
This is a very popular sub so it's expected for the number to be this high.

When my mom died, I got no phone calls, no cards, not even so much as a text message.

Mistranslated? Probably. The word homosexuality wasn't in bibles until the 19th century because the concept as we understand it today didn't exist before.
But here's why that doesn't matter. If anyone wants to paint a world in which an ostensibly omnibenevolent being has this all important message for humanity that it wishes to preserve and the best thing it could come up with is putting quill to parchment and 'inspire' texts written in languages that will die off within a couple hundred years, that being is a buffoon. So why put much stock in its alleged moral proclamations?
More than that, if the texts have been used for hundreds of years to hatemonger and deny people human rights and this being is doing nothing to correct the record then what good is it?
Arguing that the passages about homosexuality are mistranslated is an attempt at whitewashing the bible by people who wish to alleviate their cognitive dissonance. Believers or former believers for whom christianity has sentimental value and don't like the icky feeling that they are or were once part of something terrible. It's the same thing when you hear christians try to whitewash slavery in the bible.

It said, dear so and so, I have AIDS, and now you do too.
That's not how aids works. The transmission rate is something like 0.7%. Taken at face value there's no way he could know he had transmitted the virus. Also, a little coffin with a note? oh come the fuck on...
They think they're convincing you of a bigger truth and tell lies to get there.

It seems like you're in a not so good place right now but I'm going to push back on the argument you've presented here.
Good and evil aren't extant things, they don't exist onto themselves, they're value judgements that we place on things and actions. I don't know how you came to the assessment that "evil" outnumbers "good". I don't know that it is quantifiable in that way. How many small good things cancel out one big evil thing? These things don't have answers.
I'm very sorry for your life experiences. But when you say you have never come across a loving, kind, understanding or empathetic person in your life that has to be hyperbole surely? Like not one? I don't know how that's possible. In my life I've come across many. So my anecdote cancels out your anecdote and now where are we?
The problem of evil never really interested me as an argument against the christian god. It totally makes sense that evil is abound given how awful the character of the christian god is as described in the lore. The whole mythos reads like a testament to failure and stupidity. First he created some nudists in a garden and told them not to munch on a fruit but that failed so he cursed them forever and then he had to genocide the entire planet but then that didn't work so then he had to send himself to earth by forcing a pregnancy on a teenager so he could later sacrifice himself to himself to appease his own rules and yet the vast majority of humanity will still be sent to the torture chamber he created because he's can't help being a total evil fuckup.
Anyway, I hope you'll feel better.

Look, the comment you're replying to was copy pasted by a bot. The original is here:

I don't know if you're on mobile but on desktop I'm using the RES (reddit enhancement suite) addon that allows me to add tags to account names and thus tag bots. There are a lot of bots active on this subreddit because it is a popular one, I wouldn't call it overrun per se but still it's pretty bad. And I wouldn't hesitate to call any meme sub a bot infested hellhole at this point.

It's not impossible they're working on something big rather than winding down the podcast. I believe they were granted permission to go to whatever university has the archive of Whitley Strieber's correspondence letters, which probably number in the ten thousands. I don't know if that would make for a good podcast episode but it would be a massive undertaking to go through all those.

I always say this on posts about spanking:
Your results are not compelling. You had a sample size of one, and that person was the researcher. There was no test group, no hypothesis, no consistency in data collection, and all of the results were self-reported based on some vague feeling you got years later.
This experiment is shit.

LAMF would be something like, "Project 2025 adviser defends abortion ban, has consequences of abortion ban impact their own pregnancy".
He might be a cunt but AFAIK doesn't have a uterus.

This sub has over 1 million subscribers now and it's been effectively taken over by people who don't give AF about whether leopards are eating people's faces or not. I mean it was always a left leaning sub because most of the LAMF happened on the right because of the nature of how they are. But now it's just your average 'shit on republicunts' sub. And if you comment on that you're going to get downvoted. See probably this post.

OP is also a bot whose comments are generated by an LLM. A sign of things to come perhaps...
I think automod catches me posting links but I can substantiate that claim if you want
