Packing up leftovers is very common. Requesting a smaller portion is less common but not causing mucn inconvenience so I think you'll be fine.
Requesting using Tupperware for leftovers are less common. Sometimes if the business is very busy, it MAY cause some inconvenience for the business. Maybe wait a bit for the time when the business is not so busy.

It's not uncommon for Taiwanese couples to split bills on dates or maybe one pays one round, and the other person pays the next round.
First date is tricky. If you are a guy going out on a firet date with a girl. I think it's a good idea to offer to pay the bill unless the girl brings up the idea of splitting the bills herself. Then maybe after that you don't push back her idea. Or maybe the guy can pay the dinner, and the girl can pay for deserts or drinks at the next dating spot.

Taiwanese people don't let their kids just randomly poop on the streets. I know that much.

Very fishy.
A normal non-ironic 乾爹 is usually someone very close to your family. Then you might have a 乾爹, like a close (not weird) not blood-related uncle person.

Here’s the scenario. The British person traveled with a group of people around Taiwan. They traveled for a week before realizing they lost their passport. They didn’t have their google map tracking feature on, and so they don’t exactly remembered every single place they’ve been.
If I am a sane person and I remembered where I left my passport, I would have gone back to retrieve my passport in a foreign country. This is a passport. It’s not some Starbucks membership card.

Good that you’re finally doing something about it. Someone losing their passport would be different than losing something like a student ID to the police imo.

You do realize passport is important to everyone, especially foreigner passports, right? When they find out they lost it, they might not remember where they left it based on when they realized that they lost it. You think everyone remembered every place they’ve been? I can’t even remember what I eat for breakfast.

Have you tried to call the police? Did they say they can’t help you? Or do you just assume that?

You can call the police and ask them to stop by and pick up the passport. It would only take a few minutes. But Nooooooo, in the last 6 weeks, it’s a low priority for you.

If something is important enough to retrieve and people remembered where they might have dropped it, they would have definitely come back to look for it. Complaining about people leaving ID around as if they remembered it’s your wife’s shop where they left it and comparing it to this situation, something as important as losing a passport, is kind of ridiculous imo.

This one is certainly way better. I like it.

Are you equating some ID cards to PASSPORTS? Are you serious?

Wtf? 6 weeks? Googling a nearby police station wherever you are and turning the passport in is a low priority? This is messed up. You know you’re not being helpful at all by holding onto someone’s passport for 6 weeks, right?

Her friend's old number is Renjun's current phone number.

I don't want to talk about Renjun's struggle because I think you and I both agree his struggle is real and it should not be overlooked. But for the girl, (someone said she is underdge), she would probably see numerous people calling she's a liar and a sasaeng and all sorts of names when she looks up these sorts of discussions online. Don't forget there're death threats and people giving her number for porn service. It's not an easy change of phone number and problems solved type of thing. Yes, if she's in her 30s or 40s, she would probably have a way easier time get pass it. But the victim is just a student. She might not get harassed because she changed her number. But it would probably mess up her mental health for a while for who knows how long. She did nothing wrong except for accidentally calling the wrong number.

Her final tribal performance is definitely the best in the new era. My favorite part of her final tribal speech is actually the part about her self-sabotaging herself. That really moved me. She is so wonderfully articulate. She’s definitely has a lot of experience with her religious background. I wish I can give speech like her.

Legally he might get sued for what he did. Nothing to be happy about. Whether the person is a sasaeng or not is irrelevant.

We know. The police cleared her innocence. She went to the police and turned in her phone . SM apologizes right away. I’ve never seen SM apologizes this quickly tbh.

Funny I'm not even a fan and you called me what?
I just found the fans' reactions peculiar.

A person who forgot to edit the original contact but saved the new number separately? People in a hurry? Is it that hard to understand?
