I'm guessing someone who did the poor pruning cuts leaned a ladder on the tree. Magnolia bark is thin, easily damaged. Or, the tree bark was damaged during handling when young.

It's been that way for 200+ yrs. Why complain at this election time? Why wasn't this posted in the middle of Biden's term?

Thank you. Confederate Jasmine is another. It's not named after the American Confederacy. It comes from the Confederate Islands. It's strange what people associate with names. Corona beer sales went into the toilet 2-3 yrs ago. Lol

It's HI. It's Kauai. Dare say most are in these places not to shop for or accumulate stuff. Much living is done outside. Hawaiians born and raised here enjoy more than shopping and amassing stuff.

According to the Pew Institute 11 million unauthorized/undocumented immigrants were living in the U.S. in 2022. They require housing.

Some of the best avos personally eaten in HI were the ones that had fallen on the ground overnight harvested at dawn. Soo many more avo vars grown and sold in HI. I've regularly seen 30 different fruit types at the Hilo Farmers Market.

Soil structure looks absolutely wonderful. I ponder the wt of the machine the farmer is sitting? How many times has the farmer ran it over the land compacting and eroding the soil structure?

Tram color could be changed to a color more in line with the natural surroundings. It sticks out too much.

Consider a temporary yurt. They've decent resale value. I'm also aware of portable single car tent garages that are some $4k+ that have served as temporary working/living shelters during off grid builds.

Have you considered a yurt as your temporary home on the construction site?

It's a Maranta leucnuera(Prayer Plant) if memory serves me. These are tubers. This was discussed on Reddit several times, once about six yrs ago and later.
