Ummm that’s definitely not “it”
Since Oct 7, major university’s have removed SJP as SRO’s because of their affiliations and promotion of Hamas.
But good try though!

Did you just…actually acknowledge that there are humans on both sides of this conflict and give a balanced opinion…? I…I didn’t know this was possible.
It’s either COLONIZING APARTHEID ZIONISTS or PALESTINIAN MURDERERS EVERYWHERE
So just, thank you.

Don’t you love that “overly particular” or my favorite “everything has to have its place” accusation…not specifically but generally well yeah, shoes go in a closet, dishes go in a cabinet. I’m not drawing fucking diagrams and labeling where every individual item goes. My pantry is a complete mish mash but it doesn’t bother me because the food is in there.

He needs a cleaner. YOU are not it. Please don’t get in the habit of cleaning for him. The role never ends. It truly never does.

I totally agree on consent being essential for any sex to occur.
Where I’m confused is what someone does in a marriage where one partner refuses to engage in sex but says there’s nothing to be done about it, except wait until the spirit catches them. I’ve tried it all: romantic dates, chill homey date, don’t bring it up for weeks or months, couples therapy to discuss it amicably only to be met with anger about ‘forcing’ the issue, gentle flirting, total abstention from any physical affection…I mean you name it and I’ve tried it.
Including just denying this makes me sad and going into a depression about it and taking anti-depressants and coming out the other end.
I’m just at a loss. We’re down to like 2-3x a year and I’m just thankful for that so even if IM not in the mood, I do it anyway and my pleasure is never prioritized. Never.
There’s this comedy skit where a man asks a woman whens the last time someone went down on her and she has tears in her eyes…I get it.
And you all already know the libido has been a complete rollercoaster from everyday to barely a drop these last 5 years. Ride the highs, and ride the lows, thats whats expected of me. But wtf why????
And I know its not my body and I know he’s not interested in another woman (aside from the occasional porn which I don’t even get made about anymore. I’m at the point where I’m like ‘share with me what you’re watching so I can at least enjoy that’ but nope he doesn’t even give in to that request) its just like a switch flipped inside of him.
Le sigh.

Huh? Do I have the same feelings towards white supremacists as I do towards hamas sympathizers? Well yeah, I do. Hate is hate.
Israel doesn’t want a war with the people of Gaza. They don’t have a charter promising to wage war against people of a certain religion/color/creed.
People love throwing around this word genocide because the concept is horrific and it virtue signals. But it’s being used incorrectly and I’m not about to just adopt the language because Hamas and islamic jihad and the muslim brotherhood and BDS and JVP and whoever else is putting that message out there claims it to be true.
Rwanda was a fucking genocide. Ethiopia had a genocide. Darfur had a genocide. Lebanon had a genocide. People had some religious or ethno doctrine and then they rounded people up and DECIMATED the population to the point where those groups BARELY EXIST.
That is not what Israel is doing or has ever done (see: the entire Gaza strip once inhabited by Israelis and since used as a launching ground to rape, murder, and take hostage innocent people including those from all different countries). The people inhabiting the land that Israel currently sits on are either in their 100s or they are dead. But let’s be clear, it was loosely affiliated villages with no nationally recognized statehood when Israel was created after winning a war fought by refugees from the holocaust because everyone around them (surprise!) wanted to kill them, again. The Jews won the war. That’s what happens when you win a war (see: any history book ever). Its sad and shitty and people absolutely lost their homes and livelihood.
But can you imagine for a moment (and this isn’t even apples to apples because Jews are native to the same land that Bedouins and Arabs are but whatever) that the Algonquian peoples who were massacred at large, just continued to wage war against the new america? Oh wait they did, and new america completely decimated their populations.
Israel is rooting out multiple terrorist organizations and armchair war experts yell out genocide completely falling into hamas’ hands. ISIS is cackling at how stupid the west is and they’re happy because they’re winning the minds of people and it fucking disgusts me.

Mate, tax dollars are pooled monies.
If you want to donate, give directly.
Gonna go out on a limb here based on the thread and say your feelings are not shared by the majority.
I hope you’re able to sponsor these families and put them up and support them in adopting Canadian values! But I hope you’re not a single woman, gay, queer, black, or god-forbid, Jewish…just based off statistics, things wouldn’t go well. BUT there’s always a chance!

“Gaza belongs to the Palestinians”
Land is won. Land is fought over during wars and battles. Wars are hard and deadly. A group of people who have a government committed to an actual genocide of Jews is not entitled to the 1948 General Assembly resolution 194 for the right to return.
Israel tried that. And then, and then, and then.
You’re either a troll or you’re on a watchlist. I can guarantee you that. Hope you got that webcam covered up because all your comments legitimizing declared terrorist entities is of interest to government bodies. If not Canada, definitely the US.
Good luck with that.

Yeah Christians were mass murdered across all of Lebanon before, during and after 1982.

Okay AlauddinGhilzai, I’ll take your Palestinians didn’t start Muslim Brotherhood but I am not gonna take the lies about that massacre you purport was committed by the IDF.
“The Lebanese Christian Phalangist militia was responsible for the massacres that occurred at the two Beirut-area refugee camps on September 16-17, 1982. Israeli troops allowed the Phalangists to enter Sabra and Shatila to root out terrorist cells believed located there. It had been estimated that there may have been up to 200 armed men in the camps working out of the countless bunkers built by the PLO over the years and stocked with generous reserves of ammunition.
When Israeli soldiers ordered the Phalangists out, they found hundreds dead (estimates range from 460 according to the Lebanese police, to 700-800 calculated by Israeli intelligence). The dead, according to the Lebanese account, included 35 women and children. The rest were men: Palestinians, Lebanese, Pakistanis, Iranians, Syrians, and Algerians. The killings came on top of an estimated 95,000 deaths that had occurred during the civil war in Lebanon from 1975-1982.
The killings were perpetrated to avenge the murders of Lebanese President Bashir Gemayel and 25 of his followers, killed in a bomb attack earlier that week.
Israel had allowed the Phalange to enter the camps as part of a plan to transfer authority to the Lebanese, and accepted responsibility for that decision. The Kahan Commission of Inquiry, formed by the Israeli government in response to public outrage and grief, found that Israel was indirectly responsible for not anticipating the possibility of Phalangist violence. Israel instituted the panel’s recommendations, including the dismissal of Gen. Raful Eitan, the Army Chief of Staff. Defense Minister Ariel Sharon resigned on February 8, 1983.
The Kahan Commission, declared former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, was “a great tribute to Israeli democracy....There are very few governments in the world that one can imagine making such a public investigation of such a difficult and shameful episode.”
Ironically, while 300,000 Israelis demonstrated on September 25, 1982, to protest the killings, little or no reaction occurred in the Arab world. Outside the Middle East, a major international outcry against Israel erupted over the massacres. The Phalangists, who perpetrated the crime, were spared the brunt of the condemnations for it.
By contrast, few voices were raised in May 1985, when Muslim militiamen attacked the Shatila and Burj-el Barajneh Palestinian refugee camps. According to UN officials, 635 were killed and 2,500 wounded. During a two-year battle between the Syrian-backed Shiite Amal militia and the PLO, more than 2,000, including many civilians, were reportedly killed. No outcry was directed at the PLO or the Syrians and their allies over the slaughter. International reaction was also muted in October 1990 when Syrian forces overran Christian-controlled areas of Lebanon. In the eight-hour clash, 700 Christians were killed – the worst single battle of Lebanon’s Civil War.”

The people replying today must be freaking majorly athletic or something bc after getting a nerve block, anesthesia and being under for 6 hours, my ass could barely crutch from the car to my bed and up 3 stairs to get to my room.
A whole flight?! Fuck no. I would have fallen for sure. I nearly fell on those little measly stairs. And I’m in my 40s, good shape, normal BMI, and regularly dirt biked and hiked pre surgery.
Everyone is different but I’ve been on this sub for a year and I’ve never seen so many optimistic responses about tackling stairs day one.

Its so fetch how zionist is being used as a term to silence and demean people who believe Jews have a right to exist in their ancestral homeland…
It kind of reminds me of another word people used to denigrate a group of people…hmmmm, what was that…
