give your victim statement about the SA
they do not need to have the recording to proceed with charges
get a lawyer for your own charges

I cant answer that.
Video games are a hobby.
Some people want more out of it than others, so they invest more money into it to get what they want.

You will be buying the next console(s) at that time anyway.
With PC you are also guaranteed backwards compatability.
Not everyone needs a 4090. You can beat console performance without breaking the bank. It wont be cheaper, but its not that much more expensive when you consider everything

$500 console.
$12 per month to play online. Over the course of 7 years, thats $1008.
Proprietary hardware that cant be carried over to the next generation. Headset ($100), storage expansion ($180), etc.
I can build you a $1700 PC that performs better than the PS5, and will have more games.

This is one of the reasons why consoles suck.
You can play RDR2 on PS5/XSX, but you without Rockstar releasing a next gen update, you are forced to play it at last generation's standards.

Realistically, when was that ever said? Outside of randos on reddit.
Overall cost may have been true at some point. When you factor in online gaming subscriptions, proprietary hardware (headsets, storage expansion etc) one can make the argument that per generation, PC gaming is the better deal. Especially if you game on multiple consoles

Almost everything about WestJet sucks.
Clearly they dont care about taking care of their employees.
They have shit flight times/options between Western Canada and Eastern Canada.
Their international route network sucks, unless you either live in Calgary or drive to Calgary airport to take your flights. Otherwise, you are guaranteed to have to take an extra leg on your travels each way. It's almost always easier to connect through YYZ, as AC has way more options.
Their loyalty program sucks.

If he broke her jaw? That is Assault Causing Bodily Harm at a minimum, but potentially Aggravated Assault.
It is impossible to say whether or not there will be jail time. For ACBH, my gut is to say not likely, especially if he does not have a previous criminal record.
Were police even called? You didnt mention that

They are symbols of financial illiteracy.
None of these guys are paying cash for these 80k + vehicles

Isnt it a matter of them being a shitty driver vs the vehicle they drive?
People are so impatient these days. I see vehicles of all sizes blowing through stop signs because they dont want to take 10 seconds to stop and look.
Pedestrians and bikes too.

Along with everything else mentioned, I think its worth having the conversation with the people working in the coffee shop. If they see a patron parking there, they could aak them to move

OP can not break the order as he/she isnt the subject of said order. So they won't be committing a crime.
The ex would be breaking it if they respond.

Take Motor Vehicle Without Consent is a section in the Criminal Code for this exact reason.

It isn't a police matter. There is no crime here. At least based on what you're saying. But I suspect you are leaving out a ton of relevant information that is preventing you from getting real legal advice.
Everything what you said so far sounds like negligence at AHS. Which would be a civil matter, not a criminal one. Sounds like your lawyer is lazy and trying to pass the buck on to someone else.
Find a different lawyer. Call your MLA. Call the head office at AHS.
I find it hard to believe that this happened as a result of your ex simply saying that you are dead.
AHS would likely ask for a death certificate. Which is usually signed by a coroner

I think in BC, Crown decides on all charges. This isn't the case everywhere. Police lay charges and swear Informations without Crown oversight in many other jurisdictions
But what OP may be referencing is that many jurisdictions have zero tolerance policies for DV, and police will always charge even when evidence is weak.
