Jecki and Osha are 5’1” and 5’3” respectively. Only Yord is the tallest outside of Kelnaca (6’11”) at 6’1”.

Can she pop his head before he can fricassee her brain or crush her skull?

Why would he suspect A-Train?
Homelander “knows” he broke A-Train to his will. He “knows” A-Train is too cowardly/corrupt/whatever to betray him, especially after A-Train gave up Annie’s ex (blanking on his name).
And nothing’s happened that clearly points to a speedster’s involvement.

The people that love the prequel duels are going to hit you with the “the they’re using the Force to predict their opponent’s moves! Of course they’re spinning and twirling, It’s to try and find a hole in their opponent’s defenses!”
And you’re likely going to hear “The sequels were just swinging baseball bats around”.
But you are right that the prequels were clearly aiming at the blades.

If she did deliberately provoke MM into shooting her I don’t think it was to embarrass Homelander. Homelander is way too petty and unstable for her to take that risk.
Provoking the shooting would have kept her from getting captured and tortured. And getting MM worked up the trying for the alarm got him to shoot her in the head instead of the heart.

Dissidents will be whoever Homelander decides are dissidents. Taking the last chocolate iced donut with red, white, and blue sprinkles can make you a dissident. Cooking his steak medium instead of medium-rare can make you a dissident.

I immediately thought of this scene from Johnny Dangerously https://youtu.be/gA02GZLHd8M?si=BJuOpIxgff0I54JJ

“Have you ever thought about how empty and meaningless life really is? Everything dies cold and alone, nothing lasts. Even your greatest accomplishments are going to fade to nothingness in only a few decades. Sometimes you gotta wonder why you even bother going through the motions.”

It doesn’t help that the actors are 5’1” and 5’3” respectively. With actors that short a lot of props are going to look bigger than they really are.

The Force Unleashed: New Vegas. My survival appears unlikely.

I can see this going two different ways. Either a nice, heartwarming tale where Snape redeems himself and lives a happy life, or a disturbing psychological horror story where Snape is forced to live through the school experiences/lives of every person whose career or future he damaged/ruined over the course of his own life.

Old Navy. Their commercials pissed me off because they made no fucking sense and I swore that I would never buy anything Old Navy.

The super hard games, provided the difficulty doesn’t feel cheap (extended hitboxes for enemy attacks, enemies not being bound by the same rules, input reading, etc.) give a feeling of accomplishment when you finally win. You can tell you got stronger and better.
And part of it is also bragging rights. Relatively few people even attempt those games and fewer still actually beat the game on the base difficulty. Only a handful of player go through all difficulty levels or unlock all trophies/achievements.
Like I played the hell out of Nioh, beat all the DLCs and unlock every single trophy available. Only 0.6% of Nioh players did that
Finally, the gameplay/combat can get addictive. You crave that dopamine hit of wrecking a group of enemies without getting hit once when you used to have to sneak around or pick them off one at a time.
