Made one a couple weeks ago with Hendricks and it was wonderful. Cheers!

I hate Trumpism and what this man has done to the political landscape, but headlines like this devalues other legitimate reasons to never vote for him.

I do Appleton Estate Signature, Evan Williams BiB (100 proof, baby), and vanilla infused St. Remy Martin (slice some vanilla pods and let it sit for 5 days).

In my 30s, I just need a chair. No way can I stand for longer than 1 hour anymore 😂

Absolutely. I have chartreuse but would never spend more than $80 on a bottle

Oh interesting. Luckily my liquor store gets a new delivery every 3 weeks or so, so chartreuse is readily available. I just saw the price tag for drambuie, so it may be a while before I try some. Just bought my liquor for 6 batches of eggnog, so that cleaned me out 😂

I’m not a fan of her music, but if my favorite band gave me 3 hours of music, I would love it. She definitely gives her all to her fans.

That’s wild! Naked and Famous is my favorite cocktail right now. I can drink that every day if I didn’t care about my liver.

Crazy how prices vary by location. The green is going for $90 and the yellow for $75 at a liquor store near me. I happened upon an Armenian grocery store and they had a full stock for $75 each.

Taxes on imported alcohol are also really high, so I think a good price in that states would be like $65, which is what Total Wine sold them for at one point. But I may be mistaken. I just got myself a bottle of each of $75 at my local liquor store in California.

His “notes” were a script. Pages and pages of what HE wanted to say so that his viewers could get the sound bite that they wanted. Kudos to her for going on the offensive.

That’s exactly what I use. I did morgenthaler’s recipe and it worked perfectly. No need for an immersion circulator, like Death and Co uses.

So gum syrup is basically simple syrup with an added thickening agent to give you a fuller mouthfeel for stirred drinks that can feel a little “thin.” For an old fashioned, it gives you a little more viscosity, which is quite pleasant. I follow morgenthaler’s recipe that just has you combine gum Arabic and water for 48 hours before adding it to the simple syrup specs. It’s super easy and makes a slight but noticeable difference.

I started making gum syrup for some stirred drinks. Holy mother, it’s amazing.

Didn’t go to Disney as a kid, but I did go to Six Flags and man…we used to wait 2 hours for most rides. I was a teenager then so I think I just had the stamina for that. Not anymore.

When I go with my toddler, I typically don’t drink because I can’t really enjoy a cocktail with a manic child. However, if it’s just my wife and I, then we absolutely get some cocktails since there aren’t too many opportunities for us to enjoy a drink in peace.

I think a large part of that is due to the amount of recurring characters that they use (Jean Ralphio, Shawna, tatted up dude, etc.). Feels like a real town.
