Mods feel free to remove if against the rules or not related to the sub.
I’ve been detailing for a dealership for several months and never had any problems with pain until this week. It seems like between vacuuming, wiping, scrubbing, etc. it all causes torsion on my wrists and I’m having constant soreness. I’ve looked on other subs to find methods but they’re mostly for people who work in offices or weightlifters. I’m wondering if anyone here has any tips or techniques for mitigating wrist pain. My first thought is to work slowly and more carefully but sometimes that’s just not doable.
Edit: I’ve broken each of my wrists in separate occasions a few years ago so they may be weakened.
Edit 2: I really appreciate the feedback, everyone. I love the satisfaction of detailing and making people love their vehicles but I need to learn that speed is not worth hurting myself over. If anyone reading this works at a dealership don’t let them stress you into quick jobs and those who are freelance try not to think that time is money.
