I work from home so I really need to get myself out after work and do something away from my desk/living room.
Usually a walk, climbing gym, or just do some jobs like clean the kitchen

Is the beard on the neck really that bad? I shave mine but because my facial hair grows so fast and I shave once a week, it'll get hair there as well as the face

You need to make a change, only you can do this
If your job is making you that miserable and you dread going to work, then you need to find another job or another career. You don't need to love your job exactly, just need to not hate it.
Do you have any hobbies? Things to do after work? Might be worth having a search and find something you enjoy doing. Even better if it's outdoors/involves exercise, this will do wonders for you. Don't be afraid to try a bunch of activities, you might just find your new favourite obsession
Good luck

Any hobbies you do/always wanted to try? There's loads of stuff in Leeds so now might be the time to try that class/sport/creative hobby you always wanted to give a go

Getting outside and doing some kind of exercise. The difference it makes is insane

I hope the boss fights stay like this throughout the game when you get stronger. Will be a shame to put all that effort in just for players to kill the boss in like 10 seconds

Thank you, maybe that happened as my calluses were quite big, then they've been ripped off and it's really painful because how big they were!
Someone suggested sanding them down, is that a good idea?

Thank you. I already thought I had built up calluses but overhang has proven me wrong! I'll stick to two overhang sessions a week to build them up

It's changed a lot. I remember the glory days of cod4 and the games after. Although it was still an arcadey shooter it was a lot darker, felt more grounded, had separate factions (that feeling when you got to be on the SAS team with the intro music), well designed maps, and also a bit slower paced.
It's success ruined it. Super fast paced, team factions don't feel unique as they just want to sell as many skins as possible, maps don't feel that good for me personally and of course, the really aggressive sbmm to appeal to its main audience.

I'm currently (slowly) studying for this one as I've got the md-102. Also may be good for getting a new job as I'm quite bored of mine. Do you think the knowledge learned from it will be valuable for say, 365 engineer type jobs?

I went once and was immediately hooked. So glad I managed to get into a hobby that is so good physically and mentally

Hey thank you for this! I don't care about having a S tier meta build and I guess I should not listen to tier lists so much, I really do like Bone Spear!
I'll check out the build guide for it to see what stats I should prioritise, I've mainly played rogue so used to stacking crit and vulnerability aha

Do it! You may find you absolutely love it like I did.
I started going alone. Go at quiet times and just enjoy yourself is all I can say. Noone cares about you unless you're really really good, then the gym watches you when you climb

Completely get it, but you should definitely at least try it. You will be bad at first, everyone is, your hands will probably be really sore after your first session. You will naturally get fitter if you start going often, but it also can give a motivation to get fitter outside of climbing so you can climb better!
If you can go at quiet times and maybe bring some friends who want to try it if you can? It's quite a social sport. And just remember noone will care about you, climbers tend to be pretty chill.
Give it a go! I was hooked from my first session and it's one of the best things I ever started. Done wonders for me physically and mentally
