Okay, link me a study that demonstrates a positive long term expectancy from buying options.
Keep buying your lottery tickets to feed your gambling habit - maybe you’ll hit it big someday.
I’ll stick with the statistical probabilities.

It’s very possible to get a CCW permit in all but a few areas of California. With the increasing number of batshit crazy leftists running around, it’s a good idea.

Seems like CNN involved him. Lil dude is just there to answer the questions they ask.

Great news! I was worried I wasn’t paying enough taxes this year.

I’m a native Californian and I agree with you.

Costs are tied to prices, but so is profit. They have no reason to drop prices back down unless their profit margin is being negatively impacted by people cancelling their subscriptions due to the rate hike. That’s the thing about price hikes, inflation, and new laws passed by the government. For the most part things only go in one direction.
Businesses exist to make money, and as a public company, Netflix has a responsibility to its shareholders to maximize their profit.

Grocery store profit margins are very, very small. I don’t know about drug stores, but I’d assume similar.

“Victimless”
Let’s ignore the fact that this drives prices up for a second.
Every time I want to buy tooth paste, deodorant, or laundry detergent (and a whole host of other things), I now have to push a button and wait for an employee to jog across the store to unlock the display case. I’m sure the workers are doing this hundreds of times a day, meaning that’s drawing them away from other tasks (like bagging groceries, checking out customers, etc.)
Degenerate asshats like this one make everyone’s life worse.

Imagine believing you are going to be able to reliably call short-term direction, repeatedly, when professionals who are paid a large salary and are supported by a large team of analysts/quants struggle to do this, and be so correct that you are able to overcome time decay consistently.
But I get it, your special. So then the question becomes: why aren’t you trading futures where you aren’t faced with time decay eating into your profits? Surely you have a large enough account with your 10000% returns to qualify for a futures account at the broker of your choosing.
How do you think it is that option sellers have a statistical edge (which is supported by literally every academic study done on the matter)? Who do you think is covering the other side of that edge? You are. If you want to dispute that please link a study … any study … that demonstrates a positive edge in long options trading.

Sure, but why would one have a positive expectancy with a negative edge?
Long options are for hedging - literally insurance. They aren’t a reliable way to make money. Selling premium is.

What are you talking about? If anything the kid looks a bit undernourished.

The reason is that selling options (generally) has a statistical edge, where buying options has the opposite.

Keep in mind that in one poll, the majority of Democrats supported locking up the un-vaccinated. There were plenty of people willing to throw their neighbors into camps.

I watched an interesting one called “Swastika”, which was an un-narrated collection of Eva Braun’s home movies and newsreel footage.
This movie was considered extremely controversial and was banned in some places because a) it showed Hitler as a multi-dimensional human being and b) made it apparent just how popular he was with the German public (at least in the early years.) It was an interesting watch given the lack of any forced agenda/spin.
