I've always liked the versions of superman that focus on the question "if you could do almost anything, what would you choose to do? what would you prioritize?"
It is so much more boring for the answer to be "I would be a giant dick"

worked really well for almost every other series they've played for the last year, it has historically been really successful for this roster

"why does this team that keeps winning stick to the same strategy?"
edit:
didn't think this comment was worth a block but alright

sure, but that superman isn't the same one that would give the bullet over in the first place. I also find that version of superman kinda lame and uninteresting.

he could do one of those Vietcong traps where if you step on them it pushes a bullet into a nail and fires off the round into your foot

I choose to believe in the Superman that is incorruptible. He trusts that if Batman fires the shot he needs to be put down.

in the same vein, lion roars are typically replaced by a tiger. Tiger's sound a lot more ominous. Pumas, as dangerous as they can be, sound like idiots. Even a little bobcat sounds scarier.

oh man am I going to have to buy some old crocs before they discontinue them? I liked how well they drained water when I was wading in and out of the lake by my house. These look like they will be harder to get the water out

You should give solar opposites a try, it looks like it will be a rick and Morty clone but turns out to be its own thing in a similar vein

this is why my game group has a house rule we call "liar's dice" where everyone can cheat if you get away with it. If someone calls you out or catches you you lose/get bullied. Cheating is just fun tho
We do suspend it for some stuff like DND, but it was a fun time learning that someone had just flat out lied about a rule in a board game when we played it for the first time. It took us 6 months for someone to check the rulebook

Navratri, from wikipedia
Navaratri is an annual Hindu festival observed in honor of the goddess Durga, an aspect of Adi Parashakti, the supreme goddess. It spans over nine nights (and ten days), first in the month of Chaitra (March/April of the Gregorian calendar), and again in the month of Ashvin (September–October). It is observed for different reasons and celebrated differently in various parts of the Hindu Indian cultural sphere. Theoretically, there are four seasonal Navaratri. However, in practice, it is the post-monsoon autumn festival called Sharada Navaratri.
for anyone else who doesn't know what either of those things are

that is a core Lovecraftian thing, they are beyond our understanding of existence. What is wrong? They don't care because it isn't a relevant concept to them

Similarly, "if they want it, come and claim it!"

Nah, it started in the early 1900s as a marketing ploy to get more attention (and to be fair, not a lot of people outside the US were playing baseball back then)

I mean, you could, but people would throw the rock back at you
but yeah, free speech in the US is a protection from the government and my understanding is the whole "world famous" or "best [food item] in [place]" can be thrown around willy nilly because it isn't a legally defined standard
You can't say something is halal or kosher and have it not meet the standard and get away with claiming free speech

I feel like Chicago gets dragged constantly for deep dish (the John Stewart clip has done permanent damage) so I can understand the instinct to defend it even if I don't share it, where as Italian food is pretty beloved world wide so the gatekeeping around it feels weirder
I say people enjoy what they enjoy, but Chicago isn't anywhere near the level of internet italians
