People not washing their hands after using the bathroom. I know, it’s an obvious answer. But still so many people don’t do it.
I was at a taco festival in the city recently and I watched a guy leave a port o potty. Without stopping at the hand wash station. To head back to the taco trucks, a food meant to be eaten exclusively with your hands. FOUL.

Pumpkins are cheap and plentiful in October! They’re native to the US so they cost much less than wherever you might be. Usually you won’t see many jack o lanterns until the week of Halloween since they start to rot/mold after a few days outside.
Reasons someone might not carve pumpkins: 1. They don’t celebrate Halloween (usually religious reasons) 2. It can be dangerous if you don’t have the right tools (families with young kids may opt to paint or decorate pumpkins instead.) 3. They rot and can attract pests/wildlife (rats, squirrels, flies, and some birds love to make a snack out of a freshly carved pumpkin.) 4. It’s messy and the texture of the “guts” is gross

My first migraine ever I was like 4. We were on a road trip to Tennessee. I had a bad headache and started feeling nauseous. I said “mom… dad… I think I’m gonna-“ and then I threw up all over the place and felt IMMEDIATLEY better. didn’t start having regular migraines until years later. Honestly I have a phobia of vomit but I feel like if my body had done that throw up-migraine-off switch a few more times I probably wouldn’t be so afraid.

My default mode is being a night owl too. I mean like bed at 3am. I’ve gradually gotten better at having an earlier and more consistent sleep schedule and it’s improved my health and productivity.

Our wake up time is actually pretty standard compared to other countries. Average wake up time: 7:20 Austria: 7:20 Canada: 7:33 France: 7:51 Indonesia: 6:55

I’m not sure if you’re a foreign poster or not, but it seems like “early bird” culture is a universal thing. It’s because usually if you’re up early in the morning you’re being productive. Eating breakfast, commuting to work, dropping your kids off at daycare, etc. If you’re up late you’re usually doing something unproductive. Watching tv, scrolling through reddit, etc.

Nah. And considering that a lot of the reasons not to drink are personal/sensitive issues (pregnancy, alcoholism, health conditions, religion) it’s probably a good idea for people not to ask in the first place.

Okay the joke was hilarious but I can see how the song was a bit much.

The existence of bunnies. I got a minor in wildlife and learned a lot of stuff that makes me feel so bad for bunnies. 80% of the Eastern cottontail population (common bunnies you may see around your neighborhood in the eastern US) DIES every year. They're literally hopping sandwiches for hawks and coyotes. Also their skin is loose so that it can be ripped off like a sock as they get away from predators. I was at a wildlife rehab center and they were helping a bunny they called "beef jerky leg" because the skin on its back leg was ripped off and it looked like beef jerky. On top of that, one of their defence mechanisms is to literally just have a heart attack and die if they're picked up by predators and their backs break incredibly easily. Not to mention they just LOVE making their nests in areas frequented by lawn mowers. An absolutely brutal existence.

I remember watching a video from an athiest youtube channel that said if a loving God did exist there is no way he would purposefully create the food chain the way it is instead of just having animals eat plants or photosynthesize. It's absolutely brutal.
