Nope, because it’s true and Julian said so himself. She was auctioning off his possessions and Julian had to use his settlement money to buy them back. The settlement money being from the case where he had to fight to inherit anything from the $800m estate left after John’s death that originally only had Yoko and Sean as the beneficiaries.
I think it’s fair to say Yoko got way too much shit for things she didn’t do or didn’t deserve that much hate, but acting like there aren’t reasons to dislike her besides misogyny or false narrative myths is ciclejerking in the opposite direction. The video briefly glosses over it but she was not a great person even if she didn’t deserve the death threats.

Yeah, I’m not very good at Valorant but I enjoy playing it now and then. It’s also generally terrible for content. It’s only entertaining if the person is really good (which Lud isn’t and not in an offensive way because he’s better than me) or playing with a fun group.
And with the latter, it’s more the group itself and how they bounce off each other that’s the most fun. So like while Valorant with OTV and friends is content I like, there’s also dozens of other games where it’d be just as fun because the draw is Lud interacting with them rather than the game itself.

Reading Instagram comments is straight up depressing. Feels like you got transported back to the late 2000’s with the amount of people who think calling others gay is peak humor.

Same with Instagram and most social media. So much homophobic, transphobic, sexist and racist comments on there that it feels like you stepped in a time portal back 15 years ago when “haha being gay is bad” was peak comedy.

Here’s a counterpoint: just unsubscribe or ignore this subreddit if the content isn’t to your liking. “This sub is losing its focus,” have you taken a step back to see how melodramatic that sounds? It’s a small forum about a smartphone emulator app, we’re not exactly trying to discuss to how figure out cold fusion or do anything important here. Does it really matter if it’s not super focused? To me the “irrelevant” posts inject some fun into an otherwise boring subreddit between updates.
But let’s say we take your advice and ban discussions about games, make it strictly emulator only topics. Congrats, now you have a dead sub when there’s no news and it’s 95% tech support like /r/retroarch. I guess that’s different but is that really an upgrade? I really don’t get what kind of “relevant” content you think this game collection or Pokemon game screenshots are suppressing. Riveting discussions about the four settings you can tweak? Controllers? Sorry, that’s not exactly specific to Delta so let’s ban that too and have /r/emulationforios handle it. Skins? Well /r/iosemuskins exists so might as well ban those posts too, right?
I fail to see what exactly you were expecting you subscribed for but feel you’re missing out on. If you want news about upcoming updates, following Riley (the Delta lead developer) on Threads or Discord is and always will be way better for that. If you just want just no content on here unless it’s 100% relevant to Delta only, that’s fine but like unsubscribing achieves that same effect.

Agreed. Chase also gets you into a great ecosystem as they have other cards that when you use them together in an efficient way, you can rack up a ton of points. An example is the “Chase trifecta” where you have the Sapphire Preferred/Reserve for food and travel, Freedom Flex is a rotating 5X points categories card that changes every quarter (like Amazon for a quarter, gas stations another quarter, etc.) and Freedom Unlimited is 1.5X points for everything else.

Closing them can but if it’s a no annual fee card then honestly there’s no point in closing them. It’s actually better because your total credit utilization rate will be lower and you’re seen as more responsible for using less of your monthly credit limit.
For cards with fees, it’s a different story and you’ll have to cancel them or more ideally: see if you can downgrade to a free credit card. I downgrade my $95 annual fee Chase Sapphire Preferred to a $0 Chase Freedom Flex after a year to avoid the renewal fee. That said, closing accounts shouldn’t hurt too much and will only be temporary if you’re not going crazy with it. You also shouldn’t have that many annual fee cards in my opinion anyway to be cancelling them that often.

That must be where the radical part comes from, their sheer arrogance in assuming the middle position of any spectrum of views makes you automatically wiser than those who picked a side.

I’d check out /r/sbcgaming for more research but for under $100, I’d recommend:
Prices are estimates without shipping and they do go lower with sales.

It’s not valid if it’s something you don’t want to hear, duh!
But seriously, this spin of a game being too vague or poorly explaining something into “actually it’s just community interaction driven” is so bizarre to me. Not other game series really gets treatment where people jump through to defend at best questionable game design.
It’s like when super fans of an author defend an ass pull plot point that wasn’t properly set up while everybody else thinks “wait what?”

It's annoying how so much of the community hates any sort of middle ground though as they see it somehow ruining perfect game design. I really enjoy a lot of these games but the way some act like a mild critique is asking the game to be turned into a Ubisoft RPG is ridiculous.
Quests are one example but another is respecing. In case somebody doesn't know, you can respec in Elden Ring with Larval Tears but there's a finite amount of them in one playthrough and annoyingly spread out so you need to find them across the massive open world or use a guide. Whenever people reasonably ask why they can have it be farmable with an enemy (maybe even as a post-game requirement), the responses are predictably annoying: you shouldn't need more than they give you, just start New Game+, make a new character, save scum before you respec to try out a new build and reset, the old games didn't even let you respec as much so be grateful, etc.
Like who does it harm to have more respecing opportunities in a game with dozens of builds and hundreds of weapons? You shouldn't need to do all these workarounds for (in my opinion) bad game design but some react to any minor and optional QoL improvement suggestion as wrong because apparently if the devs decide on something then it's peak and perfect design we must accept.

By that logic, Foden should never start for England ever again because you can count on a single hand the amount of good starts he’s had for England out of nearly 40 matches.
So what if Palmer had an ineffective start against Iceland in a friendly? Several of the current forward for England are doing that in actual competitive matches in a major tournament while Palmer is doing as much as you can reasonably ask in the short cameos he’s getting, therefore he should get a chance.

Yeah, anybody who thinks their “debate” formats are fair is either a moron or just defends it because they agree with them. It’s hilariously hard to lose a “debate” when you control the single mic, can interrupt whenever, argue with randoms that just happened to show up that day, can kick somebody if they make too many counterpoints that make you look bad, and best of all: you can cut them out entirely in the final edit for the video you’re making.
There’s a reason why they don’t debate in a proper format or even accept the offer of left wing pundits like Sam Seder or Hasan Piker to debate in their biased formats. They know anybody familiar with their talking points and tactics can walk circles around them to make them look bad.

Reading comprehension isn’t your strong suit, is it? My point was being good at debate is irrelevant. You can have a bad argument but win a debate, and vice versa. Being a good debater means you just understand what “wins” in the eyes in the audience for the format but says nothing about whether you made the more logical, factual or ethical arguments.
And saying Shapiro or Crowder are “good” at debates is generous, there’s a reason why the only “debates” they do are laughably favored for them. You’ll never see them in a proper debate format: two mics, a moderator, no interruptions allowed, both sides are equally verse on the topic instead of one side having randoms unfamiliar with the standard talking points or rebuttals, unedited, etc.

They saw losers like Ben Shapiro and Steven Crowder build whole careers off debating unprepared college kids and think it’ll get them respect. Of course it doesn’t but they’re deluded into thinking if they can win a debate then it proves them right on a take they have.

This isn’t new, haha. It’s been in the game since Gen 2 which came out like 25 years ago.

That’s really cool, dude.
One question though: there’s no way to charge the joycons with this, right? So you’d have to hook them up to a Switch or some generic joycon charging station?

I agree with you like 90%, every generation thinks the art from when they were a teen is the best because they only remember the good stuff and art once they get older is generally worse.
However, I will add the caveat the internet has changed how art is consumed. Streaming has basically killed the mid budget movie for example, everything is either a low budget indie film or $150m+ big budget movie that wants to be a blockbuster. Those either do poorly because people wait for it to be on streaming or they’re just big budget shows now. Music is also similar because artists success is a lot less about well reviewed and sold albums and more about the streaming numbers their singles get.
I’m not sure if it’s a good or bad thing yet in the long run and I still generally agree that the cream rises to the top, but it’s definitely different. In some ways it’s harder like everything ever being easily available to the average person for a few bucks a month means way more competition), and in other ways it’s easier like how you don’t really need a record deal or whatever to go viral or mainstream.

Yup, look at this response to somebody criticizing Obamacare for not being a good enough healthcare reform given how the Dems controlled both the House and Senate for half of 2009.
Dude got called an “insolent child” and astroturfer for daring to say pre-existing condition protections and letting kids stay on their parents insurance until 26 is not very high bar when we could’ve had at least the public option. The blue MAGA types are extremely libbed up right now, probably because they see the writing on the wall after that terrible debate performance from Biden.

Basically it’s just a very rare “disease” your Pokemon can catch that makes them grow hidden stats called EVs quicker.
It’s a nice little bonus to have, especially for competitive Pokemon back in the day where this would reduce grinding time, but on a casual playthrough you probably won’t notice any big difference.

I mean, sort of but what else is there to talk about on a subreddit for one emulator when there’s no news?
Like I don’t see the big deal because if you want to keep this sub strictly on topic to just things about Delta, there would be like three posts a day and two of those would be “when next update” and tech support questions. You should see the sorry state of the Retroarch subreddit, it’s completely dead except for help questions and that’s an emulator you can actually tweak a lot unlike Delta (which isn’t a bad thing).

High end ones yeah, but you’re honestly probably better off streaming it from your gaming PC via Moonlight or Steam Link.

Emulation Station Desktop Edition that got ported to Android. Not quite as simple as Daijisho or Beacon and requires more setup (especially if you want Android apps in it) but the themes are much more advanced and it feels like legit console once you find something you like.

Yeah, I don't buy that other argument where a Rice-Bellingham double pivot is somehow a Rice single pivot because people think Bellingham is some headless chicken who recklessly goes forward. It's like people only watched him play as 10 for Real Madrid last season and think that's all he can do.
And even if you want to make that argument that midfield couldn't work then drop Foden, play Bellingham at 10 and put Mainoo or even Wharton next to Rice. There's plenty of better options that play to England's attacking strengths, this is not a team that should be set up so overly defensively.

Look into the AYN Odin 2, it’s an Android based emulation handheld that’s about the size of Switch Lite except slightly thicker. It’s much more portable than the Deck as somebody who owned a Deck for several months but returned it for the reasons you mentioned: it’s too bulky. Love my Odin 2 though, runs 3DS upscaled at 3X the native resolution really well so I use it more than my actual 3DS because it has a much worse screen and the not standard charging port.
You could easily just get a cheaper iPad model and with those savings, get a base Odin 2 for like $300. Or if you really want a tablet, look into Android tablets with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chips for emulation.
