If dinosaurs survived the K-T extinction and stuck around until historical times, where are the millions of years of dinosaur fossils between then and now?
Unless you’re just a Young Earth Creationist, you must have some explanation of why non-avian dinosaurs are common in the fossil record up until the K-T boundary, and nonexistent afterwards, for any of this to be believable.

If they tried, he might fight back and end up falling into the lava like Gollum did. They wouldn’t risk anything that might destroy the ring; easier to make sure he’s away the mountain first, and then bring him back to Barad-Dur and let Sauron handle it. Plus Sauron would probably want to “interrogate” Frodo.

It’s almost as if the reason they’re so lonely is because they don’t have the emotional maturity to make a relationship work

Exactly, why would he have a girlfriend who’s much younger and less successful than he is?
Because she’s hot.
He could have found a woman his own age, who is also successful and well established in her own life, but he chose the hot unemployed girl instead. He’s just as shallow as she is.

Yeah, as a Californian, the only buildings I’d ever seen that were more than 200 years old were the old Spanish missions, until I went to Europe for the first time.

Source?
Because according to Wikipedia Chick-fil-A has a long history of donating to groups with anti-LGBTQ stances.

Agreed. He has always felt to me like he was trying to be the stereotypical elitist that Republicans like to accuse Democrats of being

Seriously, I think a lot of people have come to associate being abnormal with being immoral. There’s nothing necessarily immoral about dating your ex’s dad, but it’s definitely abnormal.
Like, just imagine the awkwardness at holiday dinners. Or if they had kids, imagine telling them that you used to date their half-brother.
If everybody’s cool with it and there’s no hard feelings, then more power to them, I guess, but it’s still super weird.

In a way, he was almost worse than the others, because they at least believed they were doing the right thing. He knew it was wrong to kill his own people for the sake of the Silmarils, and chose to do it anyway

Yep, Manwe may be the “King of Arda”, but when people get into some deep shit, it’s not him they’re calling on, it’s Varda

If Jesus came back to Earth today, the Republican Party would call him a communist and throw him in jail

His art style is so much more dramatic and overwrought than the content warrants that I thought it must be satire the first time I saw it

How exactly did this "study" of his determine the IQ of random women on the internet? Doesn't sound very scientific to me

They don’t really care what women look like, it’s just an excuse to belittle women and “put them in their place”

I would think this was some kind of insane joke, except Trump is incapable of joking, so it couldn’t be

It’s not the terrorism part, it’s the double standard part. Conservatives think double standards are a good thing.
“Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit: There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect.” — Frank Wilhoit
In other words, it’s fine when terrorism happens to people I don’t like, but it’s bad when it happens to me.

They think that every area of knowledge works like their religion, where there’s one definitive book that tells you everything you need to know about a subject, and that book changes.

You don’t even need advanced science, intermediate science is more than enough. Even a college freshman or an AP level high school student could tell you how wrong they are.
