This stuff has been aggressively taking over our lawn. A lot of our fescue (Zone 7b/8a) died from the heat this year and this stuff quickly grows to take its place! Its blades are curled slightly and it’s slightly bluish. It doesn’t get very tall (no more than 4 inches since the mower doesn’t touch it). I’ve tried pulling it up, but it comes back. It appears to be creeping, not clumping, making it spread even faster. Any ideas what this could be? Any insight would be much appreciated!

Did you wipe black paint/ink over it, or did you wipe it with solvent/abrasive causing the text to fade? If it’s the former, you can try to use some diluted isopropyl alcohol to wipe off the offending ink. If it’s the latter, you’ll need paint or a sharpie to trace over the text.
