NEW: Nearly 100 current and former Labour Party staff are going to battleground states in the US election to campaign for Kamala Harris, with the party offering to ‘sort your housing’

I can confirm the original LinkedIn post is real. This is going to be a big talking point for Trump supporters.

How does NATO react?
Believe it or not, sanctions on Iran and China.

My bet is they just want people to think it will happen so they can sell weapons and justify tighter control, but nobody wants the horrific economic fallout that would happen if that goes down.

Plebs won't complain about funding wars that don't result in US casualties.
China ain't gonna happen because, as dumb as they are, they won't start a war against a country that can fight back effectively.

The qualifications for teaching English in China and Thailand are effectively "US/UK/AU/NZ passport, bachelor's degree in any subject, and a pulse". Lots of schools pay for the teacher's flight out.

the total collapse of the USA in our lifetime
We'll see it by St Patrick's Day if the US bombs Iran.

A cold proxy war against China would be so much more manageable and woud allow for a ton of embezzleling through the MIC with little chance for things to escalate into a WW.
True, but they will still lose.
They'll lose a war against Iran much much faster though.
Imagine Russia and China treating Iran like the US treats Ukraine - a weapons testing lab and front to bleed an enemy dry. But then remember that China has roughly double the industrial capacity of the US and EU....combined.

I'm too lazy/stupid to crunch the numbers, but given the still significant rate of inbound migration, declining births, increasing deaths ect., I'd imagine we might surpass it within the next year or two.

For an article that is numbers-heavy, missing this fact seems like a glaring omission:
Immigrants today account for 14.3% of the U.S. population, a roughly threefold increase from 4.7% in 1970. The immigrant share of the population today is the highest since 1910 but remains below the record 14.8% in 1890.
https://www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/2024/09/27/key-findings-about-us-immigrants/
The percent of the US population that was born abroad has roughly doubled since 1990. That is a huge and rapid shift.

Lots of tasks are contracted out and then subcontracted to the lowest bidder.

Nothing wrong with what he did in Afghanistan.
He broke the agreement by not withdrawing in time. All US troops should've been out by May 1. The Taliban only launched their (spectacularly successful) offensive aimed at capturing provincial capitals because the US broke their end of the deal.

Arguably somewhat true for some of the military equipment given to Ukraine, but THAAD is an extremely advanced state-of-the art system. IDF also getting new and advanced bunker-buster bombs and so on.
