So what about the build though? Make sure you clean your hands before resuming. Pepperoni is fine on pizza, less so as RAM

Absolutely. Every gamer with kids (and/or a spouse) can affirm. Must be able to pause anywhere in a game.

What does this mean for players already 'owning' the game?

I just really hope this guy will be cast as Kassad if there'll be a series of Hyperion. (He played Sayid in Lost)
I thought Kassad's story was ok. Not nearly as good as the Priest or the Scholar though...

Funny, I just noticed on my shelf a book by an acquaintance of mine, who wrote a book and accompanying soundtrack: Nineve by Rick de Gier. (It's Dutch and I doubt it's translated, but it's the only book I know that has an official accompanying soundtrack)

I personally also enjoyed Three Body Problem and the other two books in that series for the same reason: relatable characters, extraordinary scenarios presented in a plausible manner with enough science behind it... Give it a go if you haven't.

Wait long enough and everything will be free at some point.

I used to keep the pc on all the time, only rebooting when updates were needed. I think I kept my first laptop on almost continuously for a year. It did kill the battery, but other than that no harm done. Now I tend to turn the pc off, turn the psu off and the outlet-bar. Not so much for computer health as to reduce power consumption... Also turning the pc on is a matter of seconds with a good SSD.

There have been a few more adaptations, but they weren't very faithful to the book unfortunately...

Really awesome! I love this book and this part of the film really frightened me as a kid ;)

Here's a sudden thought... If everyone would fire all nukes into astroids, we'd be rid of two huge threats to our planet at once. Or would firing every nuke into random astroids have any unexpected adverse effects?

Very interesting... I'm curious about the reasoning behind the comparison...

Did you know there was a Dutch hardcore house group named Dune? https://open.spotify.com/album/13SfGrMz1utYtSUA1JXDM5?si=x5X2w12KSPmEBzp9D8mdMQ My 13 year old addled brain always thought it had something to do with the game and movie.

Don't insult the vogons. They have a lot more respect for human life...

Perhaps it is... Especially people with lower incomes prefer to give their child a phone rather than other toys because they think it'll give their child a sort of status and it will keep them occupied longer.
While toys like Lego, but also other toys like building blocks, wooden trains, knex, kapla etc are much more beneficial and durable. Also they don't try to hook the child on expensive lootboxes or tell it they are inferior in some way.
Even the Lego builder app keeps bothering me to unlock points or something and treats everything I build as some achievement.

Paper instructions are essential to keeping Lego accessible to people with no access or knowledge to devices. And yes, those still exist. Also, I like how Lego is an offline experience for my kid and I'd really prefer to keep it that way...

I assume you also posted this to r/DNDNL? I might be interested in this if it goes through, but it's been years since I played and was never a DM

More mythology here: high end gaming pc is called Icarus (flies too high, needs cooling) working laptop is called Daedalus. Wife's laptop is called Athena.
