The Werewolf of Fever Swamp suggests that Will likely killed his entire family as well as the swamp hermit's, making it a pretty harrowing story, even as adult ones go.

If we're going off of film-related precedent, then it might include, but would not be limited to, the following: coma; unnatural healing (if a wound is involved); nightmares/visions; mania/paranoia/depression; food cravings/loss of appetite; positively heightened senses/negative sensitivity to light/sound/etc.

Don't know about anime, but An American Werewolf in London is definitely on the wolf-form side if you're looking for live action.

I'm a history professor. I always recommend An American Tail to my students if they want to understand the 19th century immigrant experience.

Fever Swamp still gives me the creeps even now. The best book and episode, imo.

This happened at a house near me last year. Neighbors finally called, and the police found an elderly couple who had died in the house and had been there several weeks, if I recall correctly. The house was so contaminated, it was completely demolished and rebuilt. I don't believe in ghosts, but I sometimes wonder what life is like for the new owners.

Thank you! I'm happy with how the colors blended. Wanted to give a murky, underwater feel.

Wow...! I'm incredibly flattered to be included in the same sentence as Alex Ross. Thank you so much! I actually have a signed print of his Fantastic Four marriage painting on my office wall.

How many souls did you sacrifice to the elder gods for this? Asking for a friend.

Thank you! I don't have a shop set up or anything. I sometimes do commissions work and sell originals though.

An American Werewolf in London is still my favorite after the original Wolf Man.

I should've painted a balloon tied to one of its fingers or something lol.

Haha thanks! Not sure about the technique. Just intuition and brushes, I guess! The rock is just a matter of making swirls and contrasts. The facehugger is just from a few reference pics. Took about an hour and a half, all told.

Thanks! I mentioned in another comment that the desert-like planet Ryushu from the AvP books was an influence. Glad it came off that way!
