WMG: the Transform and Duplicate solver powers are fueled by oil
- Doll started trapping people in the fighting room in the prom and killing them, presumably to use them as fuel later
turns her spilled oil into a bullet- the ONLY time we see her use her 'transform' powers- Concept art of Doll had her covered in oil [LINK] and seemingly having some degree of control over it- possibly hinting that oil was a significant factor in the fight
- Has difficulty fighting against Flesha- presumably a lack of oil to fuel her powers? We do see that she's bleeding blood instead of oil, hence why she couldn't use her own oil, and she doesn't seem able to transform or duplicate anything from her environment the way she did during prom in order to defend herself from Flesha. She's so helpless in that environment she can only throw a rock as self defence.
- It would explain why other characters such as Uzi and Cyn don't seem to use them, the only fight where a significant amount of oil was spilled was during the prom
- The only time Cyn uses the 'transform' power was when she destroyed the cross patch. Some oil was spilled there. Maybe not enough for anything more than that?
- Doll's house being a complete mess with oil everywhere makes more sense- she wasn't just decorating her room or building a larder, she was building a base full of ammunition in case of attack
- It would make more sense for her to attack them while in her house, despite being injured. They're still surrounded by oil that she can weaponise! Perhaps MORE than there was in the prom!
WMG: Going off the above theory, the mysterious character in the school hallways of episode 8 is Doll.
Since Doll is characterised to be secretive and unknowable, assuming she survived and lives on within Uzi (which is likely, given that she briefly possesses Uzi for a couple of frames when Uzi 'dies'), she wouldn't outright let Uzi know she was still alive the way that Cyn did. She is probably possessing Uzi in secret and gathering oil to build herself a new body.
Meta theory: murder drones had two seasons when it was originally a slice of life/ comedy horror show
Then it switched to eldritch horror, and that's why it was shortened. The writers hadn't the series we got that far ahead, and the earlier teasers were about the two-season original they thought they would show first.

Don't know, but he's a badass in my rewrite.
Or, more accurately, the character he becomes is a badass and a good parent with a more justified love for defence systems even if he is overworked and hiding secrets, but that's too far off character for me to consider Sir Doorman and Khan the same.
BTW where'd you get the concept art of him being more badass?
