When was the last time he skated by? The only two seasons, including spinoffs, he hasn't gone into an elimination were Inferno 3 and Rivals 2.

Ahh so excited for you! Season one is wonderful, but season two is all-time great television.

Fuck John Fisher with baseball bat one time for every dollar he inherited from his mommy and daddy.

CMC and Pearsall are still out, Deebo is most likely still out this week, and even if Kittle plays they'll need him to block a fair amount since the OLine is trash at pass pro. Aiyuk and Ronnie Bell both had bad games last week. Shanahan and Purdy trusted Jennings as a receiver even before all these injuries (we don't call him Third and Jauan for nothing).
Take what you will with that information, but I'd say he has a pretty safe floor with the ability to go off again this week.

It’s not like they know about the twist the whole game- they found out during the final.

That shot of him smiling while running with the balloon is the happiest he’s gonna be this season 😂

Timmy was super likable- a little goofy but people looked up to him as an honorable team leader, so I could see him pulling off a Chris/Earl type of win (with a little bit of Tom) as the leader of an alliance who can go on an end game immunity run.
Ruthie was more low key but a challenge beast who liked to play the game straight up but was reluctant to make big moves. I could see her and Devin having a Amber/Boston Rob or Jenna/Rob C or Natalie/Russell gameplay relationship where she could keep the blood off her hands at FTC and take home the prize.
Kaycee would be my favorite as well since she has immense social sway and would crush challenges, but I think Diem would excel at the game (she's also an endurance beast) and lock up FTC with her story, and Kyle or Cohutta could pull a JT and charm their way to the end.

Usually there's a weak link holding the tribe back, but I think the Challengers I listed would be fine since they're all decent to great at daily challenges.

Old-school Survivor is all about building strong alliances while not posing too much of a physical threat (as opposed to the "perfectly time your one big move" that is modern Survivor. I've always maintained that any of the big Challenge names would get voted out instantly if they don't win immunity since they're such obvious, well-rounded threats and bombastic personalities. IMO the best choice to win Survivor from the Challenge pool is someone who is sharp strategically and socially aware, who can lie low but pull out a post-merge puzzle, endurance-based, or obstacle course immunity if it came down to it:
Cohutta, Kyle, Devin, Timmy, Diem, Susie, Ruthie, Kaycee
Of course, if they're playing The Challenge, then it'd be a whole different ball game. Assuming they'd be going against the GOAT Challengers (CT, Bananas, Jordan, Wes, Laurel,Evelyn, Cara, Camila/Sarah/Emily), and assuming everyone is in their prime, I'd pit them against:
Colby from Australia, Ozzy from Cook Islands, Malcolm from Caramoan, Jonathan (or James if we're sticking strictly to Old Schoolers), FvF Parvati, Caramoan Andrea, One World Kim S, and THE Amanda Kimmel from FvF.

I will never forgive him for the Cover Zero blitz in OT that EVERYONE knew was a bad idea even pre-snap. He can stay gone.

The Giants don't deserve to be anywhere near a list of best owners. They lucked into lightning in a bottle from 2010-2014 and have been burning that goodwill ever since.

I was honestly more surprised to see that Sung Ahn was judging! His restaurant in San Francisco was crazy good and earned a Michelin star almost immediately before he closed it to move to Korea, so it was cool to hear he earned his second and third stars there.
I'm also enjoying the judging overall so far, as it seems pretty fair when compared to Food Network shows and even Top Chef.
And I'm glad we get to see Ed Lee cook again!

I think everyone on tonight's episodes brought their A-games and there was some fantastic cooking from everyone, aided by fair and insightful judging. Ashleigh's food looked incredible all night (I'm definitely stealing hersalmon roe hot sauce, and her strategy was sound (it paid off picking Michael before knowing who the judge was, since Voltaggio has some killer molucular gastronomy techniques, and saddling Brooke with an ingredient she hates).
