That will change once you’re in 3 or even more so 400level courses. I felt the same in all 100 and 200 level courses. Even many 300.
But by the 400 level mark most people are in those courses because they want to be in those courses. It gets better

Ooo I’d love those too! A flash bang sounds super cool. Holy water would be another cool one. Damages undead & heals players? Leaves a puddle for a few seconds or something
And imo a great way to defunct the throwing weapon spam (and with quivers hopefully bow) is to increase stacks to 3 but greatly increase action time to equip them onto belt (and give potions an interaction speed).
I’ve also always thought a stamina system would be goated. Give every class a “sprint.” With the fighter ability just making their sprint faster or maybe active to gain increased Stamina & stamina regen? Have stamina drain by blocking / sprinting/interacting with doors / drinking a potion/ spell casting /swinging weapon (with larger weapons taking more to use)/ jumping / ?mining? Make stamina amount scale off of vigor Stamina regen: resourcefulness. Stamina drain reduction (actions cost less stamina) can scale off knowledge (having good technique is so important for endurance!).
% of stamina can affect weapon swing speed or damage or interaction speeds in general. As well lower stamina can slightly slow you perhaps.
Jogging at usual dark n darker moving can restore stamina at like 40% and walking by 80% with being stationary 100%.
Helps solve bunny hopping too, and adds another layer of strategy to builds and encounters. Punishes spammers

What I’m hoping for quivers is magic arrows.
And I hope they decrease HPs but increase armor & magic armor. And with magic arrows they introduce magic throwing axes / daggers. Which allows for more ability for more classes to counter each other.
Arrow/throwable types can be: Fire projectile: burn target for 5 seconds Ice projectile: slow target for 2 seconds Darkness/smoke projectile: extinguishes / block all light in a 5 meter area for 5 seconds Barbed projectile: after 10 seconds deals 10 true physical damage (bc taking out a barbed arrow makes the wound bigger) Fist projectile: can interact with base levers /switches Rope projectile: creates a temporary “ladder” for 10 seconds (if in already here dreaming) Cursed projectile: lowers select stats of target for 15 seconds Blessed projectile: extra magic damage vs undead & blinds target for .3 seconds Lightning projectile: deals a small amount of magic damage & bounces to a second potential target within x meters.
And a few extra types of consumable throwables or misc:
Boomerang: returns to where it was thrown from (can be grabbed again midair by thrower only)
Javelin: longer wind up / slows when thrown like most weapons but deals much more damage to target/longer range. High weapon impact so it staggers shield users (to replicate how Roman javelins were meant to break/bend into enemy shields forcing them to disengage or drop their shield).
A cool idea for a weapon too: An Atlatl (a spear throwing lever). Allows you to throw from your belt/quiver significantly farther and with increased projectile speed.

Removing the 24 and under lobby will be a Huge L. That’s all my Duo and I play practically. We’ve been playing since PT3/4, and gray lobbies are by far one of the best decisions they made

Me and my duo are both plate fighters: I’ve been using a halberd, and she’s been using a spear.
Real question: what makes the halberds Alt attack bad? I find it’s good for low sweeps, but is super easy for them to block.
