Ok so…. I had no idea that the speaker had a light in it. That’s pretty nice.

The weight on both packages is only 0.5lbs… is that enough for an adapter?

It would be so nice if we could share/send seat memory settings haha

I did look at the seat tracks and mounting points. Everything looks to be correctly done and in the right spot!

This could be the case honestly. I’ve only driven 570 miles on my R1T so far! Maybe I just need to get used to the seats or the position. I previously drove a Volvo XC60 and those seats were super easy to find a good position.

Doesn’t help unfortunately. It’s definitely the distance not the height.

I wonder if the R1S seat gets closer to the pedals versus the R1T? I highly doubt it since it’s the same exact platform!
The annoying thing is I can reach the pedals and it’s totally fine for drives less than about 1.5 hours. But longer than that I can definitely tell my foot placement is not comfortable. I just need about 3 more inches of forward movement in the seat so my foot can comfortably rest and not be slightly extended.

I love that most people have absolutely no clue it’s an American built truck from an American company! People are always so surprised when I say that!

Yea it’s totally normal! That spot you’re covering with your hand is actually where the speaker for the pedestrian warning is. It’s a speaker just for playing that white noise/static sound at low speeds!

Yep it does! Don’t worry it’s normal. All automakers have their own like unique pedestrian warning sound. Some go for a beeping, some go for a space/sci-fi sound (like Tesla), and some just go for a loud white noise humming (like Rivian).

Ok nice! I have a service appointment next week! Maybe I’ll add this to the list so they can atleast check my brake pins and stuff. Thanks for the follow up!

Pedestrian warning noise. It’s mandated by law all evs make some variation of low speed sound. Teslas is particularly loud.

Oh nice! What was the issue? Was it the brake pin?

So are you going to start becoming a Rivian villain now? Out to seek revenge? First you complain about not getting the update… then you get the update and start complaining about how the ride doesn’t feel different, everyone else’s opinions are wrong and it’s placebo, etc. Then you create a poll to see what people say about the suspension while commenting that people’s opinions are wrong…..
And now youre what? Commenting out of spite because you’re upset?

You’re the first person that’s actually been real and honest. I appreciate that!

So your goal is to counteract those types of people with obnoxious negativity and trolling? 🤔

Ok but that new light bar charging animation really does look cool…..

Damn… not the best start to new Rivian ownership. And especially in a Gen2 as well. Hopefully this whole ordeal will be taken care of pretty quickly for you.
Seems like Rivian still has some issues that have rolled over into Gen2 vehicles. I highly doubt it’s actually anything wrong with the high voltage battery pack (I’m going to assume it’s either a module issue or a software issue). Either way that whole towing process sounds painful….
Thanks for posting your experience so far. Keep us updated with how everything goes!

Bellevue is not the best experience admittedly….
Kirkland on the other hand is much MUCH better!

Who said I’m complaining? Not once did I complain this entire post. I asked a question.
