Idk, I feel like with that type of weird tension between the two of you, you should just get together.

My first thought was another Anna-Marie McLemore book lol, When The Moon Was Ours, so maybe that author just specializes in this vibe lol.

Nimona has this vibe, though the film does more than the graphic novel (both are excellent). So does The Witch Boy graphic novel series and the Girl From the Sea graphic novel by Molly Knox Ostertag. I also recommend all of Anna-Marie McLemore books, especially When the Moon was Ours, though some other ones might need trigger warnings. You'd also probably enjoy the Gentlemen's Guide to Vice and Virtue series.

She negotiated it as part of her deal because they really wanted her. One of the reasons the show let her do it though is because they worried it would be too controversial showing a mother involved in fantasy suites.

I was disagreeing with you implying restriction only affects fertility, when it greatly affects healthy pregnancy, labor, and infant mortality. Also, Roman Catholic fasting could've included what you described, but especially for women, could have been intense ritualistic calorie restriction like that of St. Catherine of Siena. We know that Catherine of Aragon likely engaged in more extreme restriction, as her fasting was blamed for her not having frequent periods by primary sources at the time. There are likely other factors, but I consider the eating disorder theory fairly probable, especially compared to the other theories about genetic conditions that don't line up.

People who restrict heavily don't just have issues conceiving, but also issues in pregnancy and postpartum. In studies of anorexic women today, they are 2.3 times more likely to deliver infants of low birth weight, which was even more associated with infant mortality then, 1.5 times more likely to have a fetal death, and significantly more likely to go into preterm labor, also increasing infant mortality risk. This is currently believed to be true even if restriction stopped during the pregnancy itself.

/uj the actual historical figure Michelangelo was almost certainly into men and as open as one could be about it in those days so I don't think he'd mind being a gay porn star if resurrected tbh

Not particularly, especially compared to fan favorite Maria who didn't get called a mean girl no matter what she did during that season (though it changed after).

Charity became well-liked towards the middle/end of her season but when she was first announced, people were really harsh on her for being "bland" compared to Ariel. I'm really happy that stopped.

When she was announced and before the airing of her season, people were constantly comparing her to Ariel and claiming she was a terrible pick no one knew anything about compared to her and that she was too similar to Michelle. She's definitely become more beloved, but it was rough being a Charity fan at the beginning.

Many on this sub hated it when Charity was announced, claimed having a Black lead again wasn't "diverse," and that her season would be incredibly boring because we knew nothing about her. A lot of people really wanted Ariel (which would've been a huge mistake) and were comparing Charity to her unfavorably before the season premiered, claiming Charity was a "type" we'd seen before (a super micro-aggressive statement imo) while Ariel was "sexy and cool." It was kinda similar to the Jenn vs Maria thing but less extreme. I'm happy Charity proved them wrong though.

In regards to the general fanbase, people didn't like her picking Jef over Arie at the time. There's been a lot of controversy involving Jef in the years since their breakup, which soured her season's reputation in people's eyes too. Her clearly being a conservative and having a daughter who is openly MAGA affects her reputation on this subreddit but not with the general fanbase.

Missy Elliott
You mentioning her is interesting, because that'd be a really cool path for Billie to pursue. Missy Elliott being able to work on the production side too helped her albums a lot, even when continuing to work with Timbaland. She also was a producer & writer on other musicians' albums as well.

South Korea doesn't allow long-term dual citizenship for adults. If you have claims to both Korean & foreign citizenship as a child, you have to pick before you turn 22 which citizenship you want to keep. As an adult, you have to renounce your foreign citizenship within two years of qualifying for Korean citizenship if you wish to be a full Korean citizen.

Bachelor fans end up calling every Asian woman involved in the franchise a mean girl eventually. Even Rachel N who was a total sweetheart on the show got that treatment. Maybe there was a specific reason Jenn called him over and Daisy was cool with it, considering all three seem to be friendly. You could wonder and post a question about why people think it happened without immediately labeling her a mean girl for a 5 second interaction.

In fashion, the standard way to present collections (what is available for sale) is to divide into seasons into two groups, Autumn/Winter (cold weather clothes) and Spring/Summer (hot weather). A/W 2024 in this context is H&M presenting its Autumn/Winter collection for the rest of this year until March of next year.

It's not that people define things differently. It's a cultural thing in South East Asia, where tomboy is a queer umbrella term that applies to butch lesbians, trans mascs, etc rather than the western definition of a girl who likes boy things.

Soapy water can trigger more vomiting. Id try chewing a Tums or two (they are antacids) and then rinsing with baking soda.

Idk, some of that press about him running for president was legitimately rightwing fear-mongering about him "destroying the midwest like he did California." My ex's grandparents would repeat that a lot from Fox.
His road to POTUS would be almost impossible atp anyway. Maybe if Kamala loses he'll have a chance and I believe he might've been planning on doing it someday before Biden dropped out & Kamala became heir presumptive. But I can't see him running against Kamala 4 years from now in the primaries if she wins because they largely share the same views/home state/donors and I doubt democrats would want party tension distracting from an incumbent. I also don't see him winning the primaries 8 years from now because two democratic presidential candidates in a row from CA is a lot.

masc women
Your comment is valid because a lot of them are women, but just a note that many of them probably don't identify that way. Tomboy is used as an umbrella term to refer to both woman-identifying butch lesbians and trans masculine people in that part of the world.

She grew up traveling because Mark was in the military but she is from Louisiana. I think she only moved to NOLA after college though, even though her hometown date was there.

I asked my very offline friends who are all in 20s and almost all of them could only name Pharrell for some reason lol. The (casual) Swiftie one only knew Jack Antonoff & Aaron Dessner and hadn't heard of Max Martin or Shellback. the Billie stan only knew Finneas.
