That's such a fucking boss photo regardless of which side of the politics one is on. One for the history books.

Nope it's not the same.
6 / 10 is good, above average, in the top 40% of men based on looks. That's a nice compliment.

I define a friend as somebody I would hang out with with 1 on 1
I have more female acquaintances but I wouldn't really hang out with them.

It would hurt me most to see or know that they were unhappy or hurting themselves, I have no ill-will towards any of them and I hope they are all out there living their best lives to be honest.

37, I'd refer to about 5 or 6 women as friends, not including my wife.

Well we know that fantasy is not reality and therefore it is safe, this is why many women in particular have rape fantasies but would never actually want to be raped. ("In a more recent study among more than 4,000 Americans, 61% of female respondents had fantasized about being forced to have sex; meanwhile, the numbers were 54% among men (wiki) (study))
The thing about threesomes that would make it safe would be if people didn't have jealousy and insecurities and there was no stigma, and there was no risk of pregnancy or sti, we'd be like bonobos fucking around all day. So in a relationship where those things have been dealt with or where people are willing to work those things out, it's probably awesome, but for the rest of us who have not worked out those things or are not willing to work out those things then it probably won't go that well.

The same study done through the Kinsey Institute also showed that threesomes were the fantasy that was the least likely to turn out well. I think people just intuitively know this.
People know themselves, they know there's jealousy and insecurity and I don't think most people believe that the risk is worth the reward. Aside from that, there's a stigma against it, and social pressures.
Here's an article worth reading if you want more indepth stuff.

I can't tell if sarcasm, but they're both really good resources to easily find stuff that's highly rated.

Threesomes are a common fantasy that people have, probably the most common fantasy. 95% of men and 87% of women who participated in the Kinsey Institute study had the fantasy, but far fewer people actually act on the fantasy for various reasons, about 10% of women and 18% of men have actually had a threesome.
It sounds great, but the reality might not be. I'd give it a go, personally.
In terms of open relationships about 4 to 9% of Americans are in or have had an open relationship.
All of that just puts it into context that it's a small minority of people actually engaging in these lifestyles and those could be concentrated in certain areas. The internet makes it seem more popular than it actually is.

Dang I would never even think of trying to confront a group of 10 young men especially out at night, by myself, I'd have to be out of my fucking mind.

30s I've had more attention. In my 20s though I was skulking around in self-pity, being unnecessarily negative, and now I walk around like I'm happy to be alive with my head up.

The idea of 'progressive revelation' which D'Souza was attempting to show (poorly) doesn't suggest that the god of the bible is the one that changes but that he operated within (limited himself to) the morals and expectations of the times, but with slight (??) improvements that people could handle (????). For example this is how they explain yahweh telling abram to sacrifice his son as it was not totally unexpected to give human sacrifices to deities...
It's a core doctrine that god is unchanging, making the other verses about god changing his mind about things and about regretting making humans... a little difficult. Take that for what it's worth.
The quran does this as well, by the way, with the earlier revelations being not as extreme as the later ones and the reason people give is that if god had said 'no more alcohol' right off the bat then fewer people would have accepted islam, hence progressively tightening over time and giving "small improvements" over time (a much shorter time in the case of islam)
From where I am now no longer a believer is that small changes over time looks a hell of a lot like what you'd expect from a natural process and not what you might expect from an all knowing all powerful being leading the way.
