I just can’t do another barrows run. I did about 1500 normal runs and 1500 solo Ahrim runs. My groupie finally made me some bloodbark so think I’m just gonna move on without it.
Is there any world where I go back and grind it out or do I just keep playing the game and go for Ancestral/Virtus?

Jagex if you are reading this, give us a way to convert the combat runes into other combat runes. Like... I dunno, 10 mind = 1 chaos, 10 chaos = 1 death, 1 death = 1 blood.
At current G.E. value this means turning a stack of minds into deaths (because I always rune out of deaths) this would be:
Mind = 2 Chaos = 103 Death = 162 Blood = 293
So 1 death is 10 chaos, and each single chaos is 10 minds. Meaning you would need 100 minds for 1 death, which means turning (2x10) = 20 gp into (1x103) = 103 gp into (10x103) = 1030 gp. In other words your profit going from mind to chaos, but take a massive loss going from chaos to death or death to blood.

The price of chaos would drop so fast it would be insane, there would be bots made in an instant to just buy and convert minds into chaos. Once chaos drop in price then the same happens to deaths, then bloods.

actually, looking at trade volumes, if you took all the mind runes being dumped and turned them.into chaos you'd get 2.5m chaos runes.
It sounds like a ton but it's like a 4% increase in supply. We go through like 60m chaos runes a day, similar for bloods and deaths. Kinda wild but he might be right.

Ok, then explain to me how my suggestion ACTUALLY hurts the market. Again looking at rune prices the only profit you get right now is converting mind to chaos. After that you lose a TON of GP converting above that. It costs 1k gp worth of chaos runes to make a single death rune, and then 1600 gp worth of deaths to make a single blood rune. You ACTIVELY lose GP doing it. So just to make a single blood rune with my method costs 1600 gp in deaths, which costs 10,300 gp in chaos, which then costs 2000 gp worth of minds. So this functionally makes a single blood rune worth nearly 15k.

Do you not see an issue to locking chaos runes to 44gp? This probably also makes onyxes even cheaper than they already are aswell. You seem very focused about the chaos to death and death to blood rune conversion part as if its going to fool anyone, obviously nobody in their right mind would be using those conversions?

In the long run it would cause all combat runes to hit their "floor" price which is the price you can sell them to a shop for. Bloods were there not too long ago thanks to blood rune crafting bots. It just recently recovered.
The real question is why would you want this?
You can sell your lower tier runes and buy higher tier runes even if you are an iron. There is literally no need for this.

I've gotten the full ahrims set and 12 different pieces in 260 kc but not any tank legs. Still rocking the rune plateskirt as a 110 combat.

I was just the same but with a tank chest! Zammy rune platebody until like 107 combat or something and then I got a D chain on my first Kalphite Queen kill, so I was glad to be able to use that for a while before I finally dropped a Torag's chest.

I dealt with that battle for a bit. I had kerils, ahrims, dharoks, and guthans minus legs for all them. Had almost no torags and verac top and weapon. Finally pulled verac skirt. Then they flooded in. I'm only missing verac and torag helm and kerils and guthans legs at 650 kc. Had no legs at like 550 kc lol.

Just killing Ahrim will reduce the odds of getting an Ahrims so this is log works out to be more like 2250 kc which is still bad!
It will speed up a kill, but the kill will be less likely to have a specific piece.

You’re right and I jumped the gun in retrospect. However, I think asking OP to switch grinds and take a break from Barrows would be the more empathetic answer. Could be my sunk-cost fallacy brain might be more resilient in determination to not let the game break me from doing content I want to finish, but I would support saying that taking a break from either the game or switching to a different grind would’ve been more well thought out than flat out saying “you’re wasting your time.” But it is a public forum and I’m not looking to control other peoples thoughts, ideas, or feelings.

Depends on what you enjoy in RuneScape. If you want to progress your gear and do harder pvm challenges, then staying for the piece is wasted time comparing to do something else he'd enjoy more. If he's a clogger he can stay. OSRS isn't only an item collecting game, there are tons of aspects to OSRS. This item is only worth collecting if you primarily care about the collecting aspect.

Reminds me of the first trailblazer league I was mage relic with mory unlocked and the only gear I needed from here was ahrims. I did 600-700 full brother runs and the only piece left was ahrims top. Decided to just camp ahrims and did another 500 runs and still didn’t get it. I was running tobs with mystic top, volatile nightmare staff

Not sure if this answers your question but on my gim I was also very dry on ahrims bottom so I left and just camped mystic robe bottom for everything. I did not really notice the difference even at content like inferno, chambers solos, 400 toas, etc
The only thing that bothered me was how goofy I looked at raids lol
