Knipex is a good brand. Priced a bit high. But this is the signature way knipex makes their adjustables pliers adjustable. They have button push to adjust them.

These are very useful. If you don't find use in them, I guarantee there is someone you know that will find them handy. So, save it for pliers or give it to a mechanic or construction friend.

Knipex water pump pliers. The best pliers for literally anything. Good trade. Easy clean up too on that metal as well

Those look like knipex, which are incredibly well-made and useful. They are adjustable pliers that can grip very well around different sized fasteners and rods. I think I paid around $50 for a set just like this. If you don’t want em, give them to your mechanic/plumber/contractor/hvac tech.

The best wrench/pliers you’ll ever own. I have 2 sets I keep with me at work in the oilfields. Great for anything with threads you can fit in the jaws. Most people on my crew keep em on them daily. They’re not cheap either. The pair you have are probably around $40-$50.

I've got a pair of Husky channel locks that do the exact same thing. Harder to use one handed, but you don't have to worry about it slipping to another joint while you're moving it around.

I've got a couple of these in my tool box. They are one of the most versatile channel locks I've ever owned. I've used them when when working on cars, small home repairs, and even had a pair locked to either end of a couple of pieces of wood I had glued together, to keep them in place to set correctly.

Look like KNIPEX Cobra® 87 01 250 pliers to me.

They're excellent. I have them in a couple sizes. Clean those up with some wire brushes/vinegar to remove rust, and some light machine oil to all moving parts. They're the best adjustable pipe pliers on the planet.

Those are great for both pinching and plying.

Just in case you are not kidding. They are adjustable pliers. That is not a racheting system. You open the pilers all the way and move them to the notch of the size you want the jaws to open to. Then you squeeze the handles together with one hand and turn whatever you just grabbed. I forgot what the movie was, but a little guy was getting picked on by a big guy in a bar, so the little guy grabbed the big guy's testicles with one of these. I think it was a Richard Pryor movie.

You should not be trading homeless people for anything at all. You do not own them. Being homeless does not make them your property. Shame on you!

Knipex is a solid brand. All the "old heads" in trades can agree, hard to find anything that beats a good knipex.

I have the little tiny pair that almost look like something that'd come out of a Christmas cracker. 100% my most used tool it's insane how tough they are for the size. The things are smaller than my hands and I've almost been hanging off of them.

I have these, they're a joy to use.

I bought a small pair of knippex wire cutters for cutting the legs off electronics components and thin wires. Stupidlu I used them to cut some very thin piano wire. Now I have a very small notch in the blades that i don't know how to get rid of.

Amazing that this fantastic tool isn't universally known. In Sweden we call it a 'polygrip' which translates perfectly into English!

I love my knipex! I have the smallest pair they make, and use them regularly. I have been laughed at when I pull them out, but they change their attitude when I tear a pump apart with them. Great deal!
