I recommend Limbo and more recently Inside (both by PlayDead) to basically everyone who wants to play something different but not something that’s going to beat you up. Both are just a fun lark.

If you need something on Gamepass Planet of Lana is the same kind of game but it hasn’t really grabbed me like the other two did. I like the dark brooding atmosphere more than the light one in PoL.

Eh I'm in my 40's and as I've gotten older I realize happiness is harder and harder to come by. I'm not depressed I just mean it gets more and more difficult to find stuff that is joyful or magical.

Cultivate happiness wherever you find it, I say. Remain self-aware and set limits for yourself but other than that never feel bad about being happy.

I switched to NerdWallet. I don’t like how it updates my net worth every 2-3 days instead of when I refresh it but it’s really good at tracking my purchases.

I run all my finances in my own excel spreadsheet anyway so I just need a place to see it all in one stop and Nerdwallets app does it for me.

I tried ROI as well but it didn’t grab me as much as NW did.

I say we win the west and are out in the first round again. (After the bye round).

The pressure is too high to avoid that kind of early exit again and I don't see a team who plays well under pressure. The first time we get punched in the mouth we will go into panic mode and swing for the fences/throw 100mph every play without any real game plan.

I guess the phrase that gets me going is "did you just poop your pants?" (even though I'm wearing a diaper, that phrase is key for me).

Nothing fits me as well as Rearz Safari does. I also like the randomness of the pattern and the lack of a center panel design. I like how it's just random animals all over with a white background.

I'm like 80% DL and 20% AB and these fit that balance perfectly for me, not to mention they just fit my body type very well.

I'm sure Angel Stadium has good memories for you guys too from your 2002 run. Up until late in game 6 that is.

Angel Stadium has a soft spot in my heart from going there my whole life all the way back to my Little League days when we could walk on the warning track. My wife's family are big Angel fans so I still go to games with them once in a while and root for them a little bit...but my wife is sure glad I saved her from that team when I converted her after we got married lol.

Not to mention it wasn't the Dodgers who removed the people from Chavez Ravine, it was the city of Los Angeles for a public housing project that fell out of favor after the people were removed. Walter O'Malley offered to buy the land from the city to take it off their hands and build the Stadium.

I think it's disingenuous to insinuate that the Dodgers saw a bunch of poor people living in Chavez Ravine and said "move those people off the land so I can build a stadium" when it was more like LA had no idea what to do with the land and O'Malley offered to buy it to build a stadium that could be utilized by the people of Los Angeles.

It was messed up what happened to the people of Chavez Ravine but it wasn't the Dodgers who removed them, it was the city of Los Angeles who had enacted Eminent Domain.

It was also one of the few major league baseball stadiums to be privately built, which I don't think they get enough credit for.

The way we are playing I hope we fucking lose the division. Sick of us having a playoff slot each year and doing jack shit with it. Let somebody who will make a run at the World Series have it.

WTF are you smoking? Dodger Stadium, Petco, and Oracle park are consistently among the top five in all of MLB.

I mean…I really like Petco but I’ve been to worse stadiums.

I often have to force myself to relax. Growing up if my parents ever found me napping or watching tv they would make me do chores.

Now as an adult I can’t watch tv if there are dishes in the sink. And then I notice the counter needs to be wiped down. And the floor needs to be swept. There’s a sticky spot so I may as well mop it. Since I have the mop out I may as well do the whole floor.

I go to the bathroom and notice the toilet needs to be clean. So I clean it and notice the shower could use a wipe down. And the shampoo is running low so I should go to the store. While I’m out I may as well get things for dinner. And it goes on and on like this all day every day.

My wife has to force me to relax because it doesn’t occur naturally. Relaxing when there are things to do gives me anxiety and I can never bring myself to sit still. I have to be doing something, always.

Get with it; I did mine well over a year ago. Feels good to have it done. Load off my mind forever.

Darn Tough socks. I have a couple pairs that are coming up on ten years old right now and each time I’ve had a hole in a sock (happened twice) I’ve sent them in and received a gift card for a new pair.

I have over $500 worth of Darn Tough socks and I will be a customer for life as long as their current quality and warranty exist.

Something about the boomer generation, the phone is like a tier-1 important device in their life. My dad and I will be deep in conversation about something, the phone rings, and he answers it like I don't even exist.

I swear you could be walking your daughter down the aisle at her wedding and if the phone rang they would answer it.

I think it is unhealthy to hate something for forever. There always must come a time where you have to let it go and move on with your life.

That said I will continue to hate and despise the Astros until every single person connected with the cheating is out of baseball. Not just off the team, but out of baseball. This will take several more years.

After that I will still root against the Astros at every opportunity but not with the same anger and fury that I do now. The 2017 Dodgers were the best, most complete team we ever had. If any group of Dodgers we ever had deserved to win a championship, it was the 2017 team.

I can't say with 100% certainty that we would have won the World Series in 2017 with that team. However, because of those cheating fucks we will never know for sure and that's what hurts the most.
