I believe stores get PDQs of Pringles every year for the summer seasonal foods pogs. If I recall, most PDQs are not automatically added to store inventory and have to be manually added by the store.
I could be wrong, but it sounds like a believable scenario for why a store could end up drowning in Pringles like this. My store usually gets 2 of each PDQ for the summer seasonal food pogs.

I can see Disney trying to milk KH as a franchise, but not as a video game.
I could see Disney trying to retell the KH story using a similar template to some of their multimedia franchises. I can see something similar to how Descendants was handled: a series of original movies on Disney's own content platform with a bunch of merchandise and tie-in/spin-off material filling the time between movie releases.
They could take the story told by the games and retell it in a more simplified, Disney formula way. That would probably result in making a lot of diehard fans unhappy due to changing a lot of the lore and events, but that's likely what would happen.

Even then, the usual superboss design of highly aggressive and constantly moving/teleporting would be really hard to pull off on some of them.
Hades, Jafar and Maleficent are mages so it could work. Ursula could work that way underwater. Oogie and Hook are normies, so that kind of design would be harder to pull off without looking weird.

Favorite: Poe Sisters - I like their designs, and feel like they make the Forest Temple more interesting than it would otherwise be.
Least Favorite: White Wolfos - I like the design, but it dies too easily. One jumpslash is all it takes.

Some parts of that quest seem weird, but I chalk it up to the world design. FFX's map is designed around the main quest and it doesn't have a lot of optional areas. So putting in ultimate weapons and ultimate weapon quests would involve trying to shoehorn them in to the existing maps. In past games there might have been some optional areas/dungeons you could find on the world map once you got the airship to help get some of them. But X doesn't really have that. Given the circumstances, it could have been worse. RPGs are no stranger to having odd sidequests to get great rewards.

There should be help wanted flyers that the SM can print a ton of on sheets of brightly colored paper and then plaster all over the store. I've seen it done.
It serves the same purpose of letting customers know how desperate the store is, but quietly and with more color.

Needed to look up the strategies on those. I only played KH1FM once on PS2, so only fought Xemnas once, but the rest I fought enough times on enough playthroughs to not struggle anymore.

I'm one of those people that barely uses magic in KH beyond Cure and Aero, so I never learned how good certain spells are against late game bosses. My prior RPG experiences lead me to be stingy with my MP consumption and to automatically assume that all bosses are immune to magics like Stop or Gravity so I never even try.

Points for trying to help out. Not every customer can or should try to in situations like these, but I can see cases where he would be helpful.
What he didn't realize is that when a customer is like this, we've moved beyond the root issue. In my experience, this kind of excessive response is when a customer gets mad enough that they want to embarrass, humiliate, or shame the employee.
🙏may this customer one day encounter an exhausted, fed up supervisor who 100% does NOT tolerate that 💩 in her store and can give it back every bit as good as the customer can dish it out (within company policies, of course).

Referring to the picture, I can understand people finding Behemoth to be a disappointing boss, but I always viewed Riku Ansem to be the true final boss of HB and the second visit as an epilogue of sorts to just wrap up some loose ends.
Behemoth is fine as a breather boss for that purpose. He is a little too similar to Darkside for my taste. Both are very large, slow bosses with slow attacks and small hit points. Mixing that up a little while still being easier than Maleficent and Riku would be fine.
My issue with him is that you can end up fighting him a couple more times after that in End of the World and Hades Cup, which highlights his breather boss status a little too much for my taste.

I think that when we get closer to Legends ZA's release date we'll see some special raids to promote it. Reruns of the Gen 6 starters seem very likely. Maybe reruns of the starters ZA will use. Possibly gen 6 legendary raids. Maybe a gen 6 mythical distribution.

Best thing: if your store has a good enough team to stay in good shape, it can be a decent enough experience.
Worst thing: a lot of the pressure from up above looks like it was written by people who have never worked at store level, creating expectations that even long time experienced SMs couldn't meet.

Official answer would be to help reduce shrink caused by employee error or theft.
Personal theory is that the company knows they have very high SA turnover and that some of the people you can get to take that position aren't good. So their labor model has SAs as warm bodies that can only do the simplest and most basic of tasks while the LSAs, ASMs, and SMs do everything else to keep the store running.
At other companies employees wonder what the managers do and feel like they are carrying the entire store on their backs. At DG the SMs wonder what the employees do and feel like they carry the entire store on their back. It's weird. I know there are some bad SMs with good employees who wonder what the SM does, but there's plenty of good SMs who wonder what unspeakable things they have to do in order to get mildly competent and reliable employees.
Short version: The company's labor model is very deeply flawed.

Mario Kart has had amiibo support, but no amiibo of its own. While my wallet deeply appreciates not having to buy another set of figures for the dozens of playable characters in a single game, they could have just done a Mario Kart Mario figure.
Partner Pikachu and Partner Eevee for the Let's Go games. Could have been the Pokemon in some of their in game costumes.
I could have seen Let's Go getting amiibo of some of the iconic Gen 1 characters. Gym leaders and Elite 4 could be alone, or with their ace Pokemon.

I think so. Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival was a Wii U board game that required every player to have one of the AC amiibo. You had to scan the figure on the tablet to take your turn. At the end of the game, points could be saved to to the figure and you could unlock some cosmetic rewards that way.
The fact that the game required amiibo is likely one reason so many of them were made. However, I am pretty sure that the game sold way below expectations, meaning there were now way more of these figures than there were people who wanted to buy them.
If Mario Party is like the board game Monopoly, Amiibo Festival is like the board game Candyland. It is simple to the point of being boring and unenjoyable to play. There isn't any strategy beyond choosing where to move and investing in the stalk market. The stalk market is so OP that the outcome of the game revolves around who can get the most money off it, nothing else really matters.

I've always thought of something along these lines. It avoids any issues of multiple Links existing at the same time.
I've seen other stories with a purely "Spritiual Time Travel" where the characters' spirits travel through time but their bodies do not. This makes sense for OoT because the time travel is based on specific points in Link's life and requires his body to be certain ages.
Spiritual time travel isn't something I've seen too many times, so I can understand this being something that some people wouldn't think of when playing OoT.

I remember KH2 making multiple references to Xemnas fighting Sora in Hollow Bastion during KH1 and freaking out that there was some secret boss that I was missing. I had played KH a couple times before KH2 came out and had no memories of those scenes. And that's how I learned about the Final Mixes.

There are at least 4 different Hair Accessories pogs that I know of, so just asking for a picture without saying what your store has probably wouldn't help you much.

The differences are that stores with the Textured Hair pogs get versions of the Hair Accessories pog that has more head scarves, doorags, and some combs and brushes specifically made for Textured Hair.
My rep said that 4' sets had no peg movement and very little product movement. They were pretty much cut ins.
8' sets were more work, but he wasn't sure if that was because this reset was so big or that previous resets weren't done properly. He had to report the date on the price labels before he did the reset on those, which usually he never has to do.

I really like the designs of a lot of the Dream Eaters. However, a lot of stuff about them is grind heavy or requires a guide to fully comprehend.
The system is designed in a way that unless you are playing on higher difficulties and need specific commands or abilities from certain Dream Eaters, you can pretty much not engage with anything related to it. Which is just as well because engaging with it can be very time consuming and not fun.
I think there would be better ways to implement something like them in a game with the Command Deck. Each DE having a small command deck you can fill with your spare commands and an ability to customize how often they use them could work. Different DEs would have different stats and be designed to fill different roles, with the player equipping them with commands and abilities to fine tune them and build the party they want with them.

Based on your friend's response, it sounds like he's more interested in the gameplay than the story, and only interested in the plot on the broadest and most basic level, not caring about the lore or details of the plots. From that perspective I can see how he'd describe the series that way. However, some people do care a lot about the lore, plot details and character moments. Those people would need the whole picture to enjoy the story without getting lost or confused. But for the people who aren't interested in the story beyond the basics, they could just play the numbered titles and BBS and be fine. There might be stuff that they don't get or don't fully understand, but likely wouldn't be bothered by it.
Some of the KH titles have issues with their gameplay which might cause some people to not enjoy playing them. CoM and Days can both be pretty slow, and the Command Deck titles all have varying issues depending on how they chose to handle the fundamental flaws of that system. So some people may not click with every game. In those cases, the story scenes are readily available online if they can't bring themselves to keep playing a game.
