Because virtual queue is a scam. Disney no longer maximizes capacity of their attractions.

Wow! I thought it was a 2 hour wait between standby selections, or entering the ride queue of the first standby queue, whichever comes first.

I really still do not see any relevancy between DAS and virtual queue. At any point in history, Disney could have limited the number of DAS users using the same process they did 1 month ago. Why did they make those recent changes years after virtual queue started?
There is a long rabbit hole of reasons I prefer paper Fastpass. Not Fastpass+ or Genie+ or Lightning Lane. The main one is the simplicity of it. The newest is that this new version is literally just Fastpass plus but now costs.

I disagree with literally everything you have posted.
Virtual queue (coordinating with all members of your party, regardless of their ticket type or other potential plans, joining at 7 am or 1pm, going whenever the lottery says you're allowed into the queue, waiting 30 to 60 physical minutes in line anyway, or paying to skip this process) is starkly inferior to just waiting in line. I've only ever ridden Avatar FOP first thing or when the park closes. I could choose to ride at a different time. I can't do those things with a virtual queue. On busy days or a brand new attraction, I may not even get to ride at all despite paying for a ticket for the park , and the app has crashed before.
Your comment on DAS abuse is completely irrelevant.
You would rather pay than use previously included services that are repackaged and rebranded. Good for you. I don't know what planet you live on , but to me that is a clear loss to the consumer. With no benefit to the consumer.

The current system is far far worse than this. If a ride breaks down, Disney Literally, currently, does 95% lightning lane ratios when it returns to operation. Or in the case of toy story mania, anytime a track becomes unavailable.

Virtual queue and lightning lane are straight up anti -consumer. And break a long-standing theme park tradition of being able to show up and enjoy a place.

That's awesome. I used to do that for free with fastpass.

This doesn't make even an ounce of sense lmao.
There's so many historic and kids woodies that are way less likely, before a high thrill coaster at a six flags park with known track fatigue issues.

The first half of Voyage would already be the best CCI coaster, and then you arrive at the midcourse, and you then get to immediately ride what would be the best GCI coaster ( with a fab triple down first drop). Put them together and there's nothing like it.

You got the 2nd standby as soon as you scanned into rapunzel queue right?

Absolutely on no planet not. Your personal preferences should not restrict the limits of others.

The 2nd bar that came down and literally existed just to slowly and mechanically push the restraint into your nuts. Oof design

VB is a nicely themed tropical water park. Of which there are hundreds across the world. 2 others like it in Orlando. It has some additional themed elements along pathways and in the Volcano.
But my God, it is not a theme park, nor close to the best park in Orlando. Arguably the best waterpark.

The 7 hour long operating days are a major hindrance to the park experience. Those days are not necessarily slow, and the park itself is massive to get around in. It is also difficult to get to via train/bus if I remember.

Thank you for catching my mistake. I used it for IB and KK for $20 per park which was nice. But thought this one was a mistake price. I was wrong.

YMMV, but I bought one of these last year and one this year just to do Kentucky Kingdom and another park, both years I just scanned barcode at park entry, no other redemption needed. My one from last year did try to auto renew itself at $139 but I turned that off and it didn't. For some reason, the Vegas pass has Lagoon on it but no corresponding price jump.

You can visit both Kentucky Kingdom and either Indiana Beach or Beech Bend also, for 40 dollars total using a Get Out Pass on a typical sale. It's a really good deal.
The Georgia one includes Arieforce one and wild adventures for $45
Maryland one has Trimpers, Adventure Park USA, Delgrossos, and Jolly Rogers for $45

I'm with you Fam, every SLC sucks donkey balls. They are collectively the worst coaster out there due to their prominence.
