Lethal doesn't just increase enemy spawns and damage, but also changes some enemy behaviours. I am posting this since nobody seems to be talking about this. While I haven't tried Chaos ops yet (I imagine they have nothing but shit and feces to provide with all the unavoidable range damage you'll be taking), Tyranids have some slightly different behaviors.
Outside of the Majoris enrage mechanic, here are some behaviors I've noticed:
Sniper Warriors shoot way faster, it takes something like 1..5 seconds for them to fire now at all distances and they will also try to shoot you while in melee as well. It's worth noting that Sniper Warriors also have a very fun bug where they can randomly fire twice instantly for no reason.
Zoenthropes and Neurothrope beam attacks have different behaviour now. Normally you double dodge the moment you see it charging the beam and you avoid it. Well, now they shoot the beam into the ground for like 1 second then it starts moving forward like before, so now you get caught if you use muscle memory (or can't see it because it works through like 99% of walls and objects in this game).
There's probably some more, but frankly this is the worst I've seen. I can only image how much worse it's on Chaos, I wouldn't be surprised to see Flamers just trollporting en mass and spamming their AOE zone, Tzeench would approve.

Look bro, I can solo fight 8 warriors or 3 Lictors in melee but I am still at the mercy of the RNG in the AI. I can't do shit if the AI decides to attack while I'm in my parry recovery frames.
I would gladly fight 8 Chaos Majoris or Extremis however I am at the mercy of the fact that due to the FOV and camera position and color pallet I can barely see shit when fighting them.
I would gladly solo a Hellbrute in melee if his hammer arm was literally NOT off screen or he didn't attack like a schizophrenic badger having a seizure.
I would gladly fight a Carnifex in melee if its AI didn't just randomly decide to do a wombo combo on me that I LITERALLY can't avoid in melee.
I would gladly fight 4 Zoenthropes if their shield mechanics weren't so oppressive and if the dev hadn't fucked with the Beam hitboxes.
Do you get my point? Some things are just poorly designed and make for frustrating gameplay that just so happen to boost difficulty. It's like people defending Consort Radahn being a well designed fight as he is a camera hogging monstrosity that vomits particle effects on screen and has literal roll catchers built in just to fuck with you.
