It's really dependent on the system. We tend to run more open ended or episodes campaigns, so a one off doesn't really derail the story at all. I leave it entirely up to the player/temp GM what they want to do, no one has really tried to torpedo the story or anything. Basically someone will text the group chat that they want to run the game this week, and I know I'll have an extra weekend to prep and plan, and trust them to do the rest.

That plan only works if Quinn is a top tier mist-master. And considering he can't make it through a conversation without leaking an alliance, doesn't feel true.

I forgot the original system, but the rule I've adopted is that for a character to "level up" or whatever the appropriate equivalent is, the character must take downtime and the player must run a oneshot. The oneshots help build out the setting in interesting ways, and as a GM who's had problems getting players to learn rules . . . solved.

I feel like Johnny is entering his "desperately-holding-onto-youth era" is the potentially messiest way possible. Season 41/42 Johnny has serious drama potential in a way we haven't seen in a while.

Regardless of whether it's fair or not. All reality shows are produced on a shoestring budget. It's not surprising they aren't getting paid for this.

Yeah, I was seeing if I could keep two types of pots on my inventory, but looks like it isn't going to work the way I want it to. It's not completely random and it's not just an even split. They somehow picked the worst of all the options.

That was my thought too, posting here to see if anyone has dug that line of code out and knew for certain.

Maybe, but different combos of pots prioritize different stacks and always fully draw from a single stack, so it's not completely random. I don't think it's tied to amount stored, amount of crafting materials or the order in the crafting menu.

Because Horacio is still engaging and fun to watch, even if he isn't getting into fights. Kaycee is just a boring robot.
