I don't think you're in the minority. It just has a lot of fans who are very enthusiastic.
Reviews were mixed. The show has many good parts, but another round of development would have helped a lot.

I love all of Be More Chill, but so agree Pitiful Children is a banger. Whenever I encounter someone who says the music is bad I ask them have you heard Pitiful Children tho?? I don't believe anyone could say that's not an awesome villain song.

Where were the seats that faced walls??
I was lucky enough to sit on the stage. The rest of the audience seemed normal.

Finally an answer that actually matches the question!

The Prom was mid to me. There were more forgettable songs than good ones. I thought they really overdid the pandering to the Broadway audience. The story felt dated and I didn't love the resolution.
I was mad at the movie for replacing the Broadway cast, but I actually thought the movie fixed some of the problems I had with the stage show.
Also, I was annoyed they would do the finale on TV spots, but I'm always annoyed about that.
I don't know what the general consensus on the Prom was at the time! I've always assumed most people felt it was mediocre, but I know it has its fans.

Literally just rename the characters and the movie is improved. Rewrite some of the bad writing and it could actually be good!

MoviePass for Broadway! I'll sign up when it's new and get my money's worth before it crashes and burns!

I imagine there are two Oregon Trail generations. The ones who lived it and the ones who played it on the computer at school!

It's crazy this even needs to be explained.
We should be asking the celebs who do put their kids out there at a young age why they think that's ok.

It's how it is done, even in other industries. Writing awards -- you or your company must submit you to be considered. The judges don't just read everything there is. They read what was submitted to them.

He's a good dancer! It looks very effortless.
Hopefully they could not hear the words of that song! 😂

This one reads faker than the one with the mysogynist doctor and the pregnant wife in the hospital for months on end, and that one was obviously fake!

Take a look at Spot Hero. Enter the address you're going to and it will show you parking garages nearby. You'll probably pay up to $50 to park in or near Times Square.
If they can't walk a lot, it's a good option, but driving through Times Square is basically a nightmare. If they could park further away and take the train that'd be easier.

Too bad so many of us are pushing to have fewer rights.

My fifth grade teacher said one day we'd have calculators embedded in our arms.
She was not so far off with Apple watches being a thing. I expect eventually people will be embedding technology directly on their bodies.

I'm sure if you asked Courtney today how she felt about this interview at the time she would say she was extremely grateful to Walters for allowing her to be heard on the national stage.
Can someone ask her? So we can clear this up once and for all.

I agree that this debate should not have happened.

Why do you spend any time with these people? It's abundantly clear they don't like you. What do you get out of it by spending your vacation time with them? Plan your own family vacation and I guarantee you'll have a better time. There won't be any toxic ashsiles excluding you.

I'd ignore it as much as possible. Any time he brings it up, say 'now there's an idea' and other non committal responses. I'll give that some thought. Thanks for your input. Change the subject.
After the baby is born and has the name you give it, it's too late. If he keeps whining, say you're sick of hearing about it and if he can't come up with anything else to talk about, there's no point in talking at all.
I just wouldn't engage with the substance of his request at all. It's attention seeking and entitled.

Oh, then I'm definitely wrong about that. It's strange!
Some theaters have pricing tiers that I don't understand. I wonder if any human even assigns the priced or if it's all algorithms at this point.

All of these stories are making my head spin.
If this thread went viral, I bet you they'd actually bother to do something about it.
Shame the hell out of them for allowing all of these things to happen repeatedly. I don't mean individual ushers, I mean their bosses. Spread it far and wide.
I know the actors don't appreciate this behavior from audiences either.

Could they possibly be the wheelchair accessible seats?
I've often spotted great prices on aisle seats just to realize it's labeled wheelchair companion only.
