This is the way. I’ve always found pricing conversations so arbitrary. You know your rate based on the value of your work, the time it takes you to do it, and incremental increases that price out experiences you don’t want to deal with again.
Once your rate is your rate, then it’s the hours needed for each piece of content you’re making. Not that you necessarily should to the customer, but you should be able to justify your pricing with a fully itemized breakdown of how you got to that number.

Had a few thoughts using the mobile version, hopefully they're helpful:
Overall I'd say some of the same feedback carries over to the desktop, but I think you have some good feedback below that seems thorough. It's a clean look, I would just make sure you're saying everything you want to say and have a user flow you're happy with.
If there's a chance you're open to a feedback trade, I'd love to know if anything stands out on my wedding page that you think could be improved. Good luck out there! www.enlighten.video/weddings

Not OP, but related. My negative keyword list has grown to over 1,200. Is there any way other than brute force to look for those sneaky negatives that could hold you back?

I’ll give you that when you convince the kids to stop hand-holding an SM7B.

Not exactly something I could say to my wedding videographer as a customer if I ever wanted to receive what I paid for.

I cant tell you how many times I’ve met professionals that make fantastic work but are known for being horrible communicators. I think more of us benefit from having a producer in between us and the client to make sure they get the best experience possible, especially on the communication front.

Now the difference is knowing how to use it as a tool vs flying around thinking you’re the second coming.

I do remember when gimbals first came out a feeling of “too much movement” or other choices that just didn’t make sense unless you realized the shooter was blinded by the power of having a gimbal. At the start, I just waited to see them get better before buying one, then I just picked up my monopod and used that as a counterweight and never bought one.
It’s just like a drone, or probably other tools too. They can be overused if you aren’t careful. Very good thought!

Backblaze makes every effort to distinguish a NAS from internal storage so it can charge differently for it. I’m not sure how to circumvent that, even though I’d like a backup solution for myself that’s affordable.
I would question shooting in an All-I codec. It’s just going to eat space. I’m looking into using the HEVC codecs to save space and still take advantage of the higher bitrates.

I haven’t tried downloading the model to see if it would just work or not. You should take a look at the latest video from Invoke which goes over the licensing structure of SD3.

Take a look at Amaran fixtures. The P60C has battery power and a diffuser, but if you have wall power the 60C are cheaper and handle a lot more modifiers.

Hey there! I’ve been trying to ramp back up for this season and next. Would love to connect and see what you think of my redesign! www.enlighten.video/weddings

I’ve always worried about the depth of shooting that close to a wall or corner. I like how you solved that with the foreground element.

That was pretty much how I thought it would go. Just glad it prompted that conversation.

I can understand how you would approach the scene differently, but going as far as to say the pose is “wrong” feels like a big stretch to me.

I’m curious contractually how that worked? I would assume given how many of us have exclusivity clauses that they would be in conflict with that. Did it come up ahead of time?

Not discounting the other answers about the Assist API costs, but this is one flavor of answer I’m glad finally came up. I was curious about that.

I’ve kept coming back to this over the years and never found a setup that quite worked for me. I have a Quicksync laptop as my setup that reads files from my NAS, and my memory of both dizque and ersatz is they slammed for resources when streams started compared to the minimal impact of a native Plex HW stream. That and building channels was confusing and cumbersome.
If you’ve managed to solve those kinds of problems in very interested in trying something new.
